  1. This will end with France, as the 2nd to last country, giving its 12 points to Canada, isn't it?
  2. Canada didn't get a single medal in this session, and they are still keeping the 1st place with a 14 points lead.
  3. Lithuania's record of the lowest among of points for a TISC winner might be in danger.
  4. Fun fact that I just noticed: TISC never had three contests in a row where Ireland didn't win. So you know who's winning the next contest if Ireland isn't winning this one.
  5. Just wondering, do we know what's the "greatest comeback" in TISC history? The largest points difference where a country came from behind and won the contest.
  6. Top5 after 19 nations in the last contest: 1. 120pts 2. 102pts 3. 82pts 4. 78pts 5. 68pts
  7. So Canada is probably locked for a final Top3 placement at the very least, and it's obviously the frontrunner at this point, but other than that this is completely open. I think the points per jury averages are so low that basically anything can happen in the second half.
  8. HUNGARY NEW ZEALAND 12 INDONESIA 11 CHINA 10 SLOVENIA 9 ISRAEL 8 NETHERLANDS 7 FRANCE 6 PORTUGAL 5 KAZAKHSTAN 4 BRAZIL 3 SWEDEN 2 IRELAND 1 These were the votes of Hungary. Thank you all.
  9. I am pretty sure you won't be able to guess who's getting the 12 points.
  10. HUNGARY INDONESIA 11 CHINA 10 SLOVENIA 9 ISRAEL 8 NETHERLANDS 7 FRANCE 6 PORTUGAL 5 KAZAKHSTAN 4 BRAZIL 3 SWEDEN 2 IRELAND 1
  11. HUNGARY Szép jó napot mindenkinek! Hello fellow Totallympians, this is Hungary calling! Here are the votes of the Hungarian National Jury: CHINA 10 SLOVENIA 9 ISRAEL 8 NETHERLANDS 7 FRANCE 6 PORTUGAL 5 KAZAKHSTAN 4 BRAZIL 3 SWEDEN 2 IRELAND 1
  12. Well, if you think that Denmark is going against the flow... but I won't say anything more than that for now.
  13. We didn't get a single point from 5 nations in a row, and then we got 30 points from the next 3. I feel like something similar happened to us in the last contest, this is the Hungarian way.
  14. Just for comparison, this was the Top5 after 10 countries in the last contest: 1. 68pts 2. 53pts 3. 47pts 4. 42pts 5. 41pts 4 of these countries were in the final Top5.
  15. As boring as "Shawn Mendes is winning TISC" sounds, at least he would be the first ever non-European winner. And I must say, for worldwide contest with 14 editions, we are kinda overdue for that.
  16. So far it looks like we are completely all over the place, which is helping the most well-known song in the contest.
  17. Well, if the first 6 nations are any indication, this will be a really unpredictable contest.
  18. Only Portugal and Slovakia got points from all the 3 nations who voted so far.
  19. The last time Netherlands got the first 12 points, and won. Can this happen two times in a row, this time for Slovenia?
  20. Fun fact: I did try to find English language songs by Hungarian artists both times I entered TISC because I am very much aware about that songs in English perform better in contests like TISC. And I couldn't find much. For better or worse Hungary is doomed to send Hungarian language songs, because apparently we almost never write songs in English.
