for olympic qualifications events, the asian games is serving as a direct qualifier for the following: Archery Synchronised swimming Boxing Break dancing water polo Tennis Sailing Hockey Modern Pentathlon (I hope I didn't miss something) in addition there will be some events serve as indirect qualifications either by acheiving standard cut (athletics for example) or to add to ranking

It’s a bit off topic but getting foreign people to compete for my country is always something I am against (I am not talking about getting citizenship in a normal well known process then decide to compete with the new nationality) By the way I am currently in in business trip and have lots of friends there and usually expressing my opinion to them … I’d say strong disagreement to what Bahrain do not "hate" …and this strong disagreement includes all similar situations even if we did the same. But talking sports as I always like, has a very good team in handball ..all locals …each country has talents and IMO it would be better if they try to find and develop talents within their people instead of buying champions. that's correct, they put a draw on the website on 15th afternoon ...same day evening has been replaced totally. looks like they were testing the website update and the new format and interface. very unprofessional work

yes World Championship is not part of the Olympic ranking ..I presume the delay of updating the ranking due to the delay of submitting the results. full results just populated on UIPM website few days ago ...however normally they update the ranking the day after the tournment (happened in Polish open and European games)

The qualification guideline was showing that African /Oceania championship is counted towards Olympic Ranking, but the UIPM ranking has not been updated. Is it just a mistake or they will update it later or there are some changes to qualification procedure?

that's correct ..it's abit complicated equation function of two teams ranking before the game and probability of winning in addition to the results (3/0 has different points compared to 3/1 ..etc) as an example lost 13.94 ponts when lost 3/0 against in group stage ..while the final when won 3/1 they gain 2.59 points ...also note that both and lost one game (and ranking is based on match by match not based on title winning nor positions) ..saying that lost to much lower ranking team compared to which lost against if you are looking for OGQ ..then should : 1- beat in OQT 2- trying to beat much higher ranked teams for example or 3- don't lose to lower ranked team The Official FIVB men’s Volleyball World Ranking. | volleyballworld.com

That’s good to know .. I got the info (he didn’t gain so much weight) from Egyptian Journalist .. I presume he measures (so much weight) as +30 kg 😂😂 but all the info from Egyptian federation he is going back to his 89 body weight.. my personal opinion that’s too risky.. however winning gold in W CH is giving him a high confidence for sure.. we will see
