Oh well, maybe Jake Paul is a massive fan of the Adelskalendern and will finally convince her to do a 5k for the sake of that!   

Ice cross at the Olympics? Yes please   One of my favourite non-olympic winter sports by far. So exciting to watch. 
 
For those who have never seen ice cross before, and have no clue what it is, here’s a video explaining it for you 
 
 

Does it still exist? I know a few years back there was the pretty big Red Bull sponsored series, but I haven't heard much of it the past 2-3 years or so...which is sad, because yeah it's absolutely awesome and would be a fantastic addition  (although the main issue is/was it being of course basically entirely Red Bull guided, which isn't great for Olympic inclusion one can imagine)

Jutta Leerdam has confirmed the rumours of last week are true and she's in a relationship with.....Jake Paul, some YouTube guy who is mostly known for being....well, a bit of an uncivilized fellow, so to say. The chapter 'Controversies and legal issues' on his Wikipedia is almost longer than the rest, which should probably tell you enough about the kind of character this is

With New Zealand winning another event and Argentina failing to reach the cup semis things are looking pretty good for them to win the overall title. With both Australia and Samoa failing to reach the cup quarterfinals, South Africa has moved into the final Olympic quota position. Ireland and the United States did enough to keep pace while Fiji is getting closer to solidifying their spot to the games. The fight for the final core team spot is interesting as Spain leapfrogged Uruguay while Kenya lost ground overall.

A fun possibility with the inclusion of natural track luge is the simultaneous inclusion of ice cross downhill. You could have natural track luge the first week, and then take a few days in the middle of the Games to remodel the track and prepare it for two or three days of ice cross downhill at the end of the Games.
