  1. Doesn’t matter, 22-9 against Canada, Australia beat Canada and now out before the finals even start. I mean, we know it could happen, strong group and all, but only 9 against Canada is disappointing.
  2. Will finals of this QT be streamable anywhere?
  3. Kind of expected, but still happy it did turn out this way.
  4. Is there a timetable for these tournaments somewhere? Can't seem to find it and I am interested to try and watch at least the weekend games. Maybe also try to go for the friday games on watchback, but I don't lnow if that is possible.
  5. Neither of them is a lock when we don’t know what McLaughlin is capable of.
  6. It is blatantly obvious indeed (200 back/fly could also help Curzan if she manages to qualify for both although that's less likely than Smith), but a schedule is based on.. like, whatever? It is also just luck of the draw in some sense. Changing it afterwards for no apparent reason just seems strange though.
  7. Especially Spitse and Martens. Spitse is old and Martens hasn’t performed for years. With Ajax performing well in women’s UCL there should be some new names as well. Defense has already completely changed, but midfield and attack are basically still the same names as 2017.
  8. This was something that I already felt last Euro, but it felt like Jonker had something to at least make them kinda keep up and the NL group was kind of a surprise at times, but this is just not good enough. The small basis is a problem when competing against the top nations. The injuries just stack and there are no reserves to salvage anything.
  9. This looks pretty hopeless and Germany isn’t even really doing bits. Looking at this I am kinda surprised we even won a home ‘atch against England (and only narrowly lost the away match)
  10. Kata was the worst of all in Tokyo, both events basically were just a waste of time, we already knew who would win the gold. I, for one, rather have Breaking on the Olympic program than.. that.
  11. I think it is a 50/50. They are pretty close. Germany really only had counters to go on and they often turned out to be shots from the side. Martens is not on the necessary level for years now. It really depends on Miedema, Brugts and Groenen.
  12. Germany always were the weakest of these four this cycle apart from maybe the Parsons year of the Netherlands (and were kinda lucky Denmark bottled it anyway)
  13. Agreed, but tough to see only 4 countries and Lisa in the mix once more. Just wanna see some decent results from Czechia, Austria or Finland sometimes
  14. France at least doing their job, that's nice. Now if lose next wednesday it is at least themselves bottling it.
  15. Yeah Lagreid also seemed out of shape. However, those two were slow even in comparison
  16. Matos Ribeiro steps one up from last year. Really nice to have such a country in the mix
  17. Hope to see something else over France and Norway the next few days
  18. Too bad the Swiss couldn't get a medal for their efforts.
  19. For gold, probably women's football. As if. 3x3 basketball men seems even more likely to grab the gold.
  20. Skateboarding and Triathlon should be considered too, although I don't see them even topping the Tokyo results. But Handball likely suffers the same fate. There's also Breaking.. but that's kinda, well, breaking the rules.
  21. No chance of going to the stadium again tonight. May the best win. Looking back on thursday I can only see Spain win in that form. Netherlands had huge problems in attack, they just couldnt pass the Ball quick enough. For the quotum I think it will be a fierce battle. Hope they both get it eventually through the worlds alongside Hungary.
