Yes, it is Flamengo. Apparently there was a bidding war and back on Friday the news was Internacional offered more money. Today it came out Flamengo outbid them
-
Paulo Sousa phoned our FA chief today and informed him of wanting to take the Internacional job. The only question is how ugly this divorce will be

Cleveland Browns might be looking for a new QB next season. Baker Mayfield keeps throwing stupid INTs and the roster is too good to have this happen so often.
-
Some rumours in the Polish press that NT coach Paulo Sousa might sign a contract with Internacional Porto Alegre as soon as Sunday. Given the tough WC playoffs draw he is a dead man walking here since he'd be fired if/when we fail to qualify anyway.

@heywoodu Why did Charlene Sloof stop competing for Holland though?
-
Well, we've seen this in swimming and some of these 2008-2009 WR have been broken since despite the odds. WA still recognizes the DDR WR so there's no way they will suddenly take away Warholm or McLaughlin's WRs for instance. And I bet the shoe companies will come up with a solution to by-pass the new regs.

You'd be surprised since Palau used to be known as Belau... which ofc is similar in spelling to Belarus.
The DJ in question said the Belarussian anthem was under BLR anyway. Good thing they didn't mix up the Finnish anthem? It's such a nonsense it makes you wonder how these people think others are so stupid to buy this crap? You have an internantional match between two teams and you always play the anthems before. Rushing to play the anthem? Obviously it was done on purpose to annoy Lukashenka's countrymen. It's laughable to hear these excuses. Meanwhile the dictator remains in charge for 27 years and the powerful democracies can only sit on their hands since it's not worth to fight for democracy in Belarus. Russia would only raise the gas prices in response (which is happenning right now anyway) and everyone is fucked (except Germany thanks to Nord Stream 2).

This was probably done on purpose since I refuse to believe people can be that stupid. Since European politicians are unwilling to do anything about Lukashenka for 27 years already we have to live with these kind of "mistakes"?

WA has moved in to do something about the wonder shoes allegations. But new rules will only come into effect in November 2024 and who knows if that actually works?

Vinatzer with a great run.
Koyama guaranteed a Top 10 finish!

First time two
skiers score points in the same World Cup race since Aspen 2008 slalom (Karasinska 25th, A. Gasienica-Daniel 28th)
Maybe we won't have to wait 13 years for the next one?
-
Win #72 for Shiffrin! Hector & Gisin on the podium.
Gasienica-Daniel 6th and Luczak 20th! One of the best races for the non-existent Polish alpine skiing in the last 30 years

Top 10 for

I can't believe someone is supporting executing dissidents in 2021, if we're going to go with the most extreme elements of the coalitions of the winning candidate.
Also, is Boric even a Communist? He certainly has Chile's Communist party in his coalition, but Boric himself has been pretty consistently opposed to the Nicaraguan, Cuban and Venezuelan governments as far as I can tell.
You do realize there is a division among the communist fractions & parties across the world? It's been that way ever since Trotskiy was exiled from the Soviet Union.
Again, people who have never experieced communism suddenly support communism & Marxism like something positive or a "lesser evil". I got another news for you, the "lesser evil" excuse was used in 1981 when communists introduced martial law in Poland already. Call me again when there is a martial law in Canada and that is actually sold as something positive

If the alternative was a normal presidential candidate, sure. If the alternative is a supporter of a former repressive dictator... bit of a different story.
I got news for you - communism is also a repressive dictatorship system! Can't believe someone still supports Communist Party & Marxists politicians forming any sort of government in 2021.

Trevon Diggs gets interception #11 on Washington's first snap of the game. Last time someone had 11 INT in a single season was 1981 (Everson Walls, also a Cowboys player).
