  4. Finally an Asian title in fencing it's only the 2nd gold medal ever even though it should be much more. Pakdaman came from 14-10 behind to win the gold. but I hope they also do good in the team event. that's much more important in term of Olympic qualification. and looks like Korean golden generation is fading, Oh, Kim and Gu they all got eliminated early by the hands of unknown guys. (Kuwait, Uzbekistan etc) maybe they aren't the undisputed World #1 anymore

My friend after he got his hand on the tickets he directly sell it to a scalper waiting at the exit lane of the ticket booth…

  25. some good results and moves on the OQR for both men and women last night in Havana. the women's -81kg class was won by Solfrid Eila Amena Koanda with a rock solid 266kg Total. she was already in qualifying position in the +87kg class after her gold medal at the world championships in Bogotà last Autumn, but now she breaks in straight into 2nd place of the -81kg class OQR. Tamara Yajaira Salazar Arce ended up in 2nd place, improving her score up to 265kg, but still she loses 1 place in the OQR: she's now 3rd behind Liang and Koanda. last night, Neisi Patricia Dajomes Barrera ended up in 3rd place with a good Total of 260kg, which would be a comfortable qualifying score, if only she wasn't the 2nd woman from her Country in the qualification ranking. finally, also the 4th ranked from last night, Yudelina Mejia Peguero, breaks into a qualifying position in the OQR with a good 252kg Total. Martha Ann Rogers was 5th and improved her Total by 1kg, going up to 248, but in the end she loses 2 places in the OQR. however, she's still in the top 10 (meanwhile and now are out of the top 10 after last night's event).

  30. Well, this is a depressing story. If you can’t trust a stripper, who can you trust? A Miami stripper has been arrested after allegedly plying a client with tequila during a raunchy lap dance while covertly funneling over $60,000 from his bank accounts. Yannelin Rivera-Bosaw, 34, was one of several dancers who performed for the unwitting victim in a private VIP room at Miami gentlemen's club Playmates last week, police say. The strippers then relentlessly supplied him with tequila shots, until he became so drunk he couldn't stand up to leave, according to the police report. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12204869/Stripper-34-arrested-plying-man-tequila-funneling-62-000-accounts.html

Our chances at qualifying for Paris 2024 in men's basketball are looking really good right now. SGA, Murray, and Wiggins have all had great NBA seasons. US will be most likely be qualifying first in the Americas, but the fight for the second quota is wide open (IMO Canada and Dominican Republic are the most likely to place second, with KAT declaring his intention to play) Certainly helps that Argentina failed to qualify for the World Cup, as they probably would've been the #2 team.
