Io posso capire la preoccupazione per la crescita degli avversari e per il fatto che lo status di favorito di Ghiotto è meno forte di qualche mese fa. Capisco meno, oltre all'esigenza di reiterare il concetto alla nausea, la questione dei 'vincitori sicuri' contrapposti ai 'tanti dubbi', perché di atleti che vanno alle Olimpiadi solo per ritirare l'oro ne vedo pochi anche in altre squadre.

Jagerčíková so Šiarnikom nebudú chýbať pri olympijskej premiére skialpinizmu Marianna Jagerčíková a Jakub Šiarnik nebudú chýbať pri premiére skialpinizmu na zimných olympijských hrách. Miestenku v miešaných štafetách na hry v Miláne a Cortine d’Ampezzo potvrdili na pretekoch Svetového pohára v Salt Lake City. Olympijské preteky skialpinistov sa vo februári budúceho roka uskutočnia v Bormiu. Jagerčíková so Šiarnikom obsadili v miešaných štafetách v Salt Lake City vo finále 9. miesto. Do olympijského kvalifikačného rebríčka si pripísali 51 bodov a udržali v ňom za sebou Poliakov i Švédov. Na základe kritérií získali jednu zo šiestich voľných miesteniek, ktoré sa rozdeľovali podľa kvalifikačného rebríčka. V ňom mali v konečnom účtovaní Poliaci o 2 a Švédi o 7 bodov menej ako Slováci. Miestenky pre Jagerčíkovú so Šiarnikom ešte definitívne musí potvrdiť medzinárodná federácia. „Bez kyslíka, vysilení, vymrznutí, ale je to tam. My a Poliaci berieme posledné miestenky na ZOH. Po preležanej strede a trojdňovom výpadku som rád, že som ustrážil Poliaka a Švéda na dohľad. Vďaka Marianne Jagerčíkovej za top výkon. Vďaka všetkým, čo ste nám fandili. A tiež vďaka zväzu, SOŠV a všetkým sponzorom, že som sa mohol ako-tak pripraviť aj v sťažených amatérskych podmienkach,“ uviedol v príspevku na Instagrame Jakub Šiarnik. Slovensko nemusia na ZOH 2026 zastupovať len dvaja skialpinisti. Ak sa v rebríčku jednotlivcov udrží Marianna Jagerčíková na postupovej pozícii, šancu dostane ešte jedna žena. V Salt Lake City v pretekoch miešaných štafiet obsadili Rebeka Cully so Samuelom Machajom v B-finále 11. priečku, celkovo skončili na 23. pozícii. Článok prevzatý z SOŠV.sk -

Olympic triathlon champion Alex Yee ran 2h 6m 38 seconds in the Valencia marathon. He's now the fastest European born marathon runner of the year although 5 African born Europeans are still faster than him. -
The 4th fastest in history. She also holds the 2nd and 3rd...and 5th...and 11th and 12th...and 18th... Interestingly, this is only the 2nd 2:02:x in history, while there are also only two 2:01:x. In other words, no one else has even gotten close to that WR. Also interesting, and not at all suspicious, is that the WR holder Liu's second best time is more than 2 seconds slower.
