  1. What's new in this club
  2. There is conflicting understanding of the qualification document. I still understand that 2 boats qualify irrespective of gender & placing provided they finish in qualifying position.
  3. There is no need to win the race, In African qualifiers finished third in Men's Single Sculls and first in Women's Single Sculls and qualified in both events.
  4. Entry list and Schedule for Asian Sprint Canoe Qualifiers starting on 18th April https://sites.google.com/canoedog.com/asiacanoe24/schedules?authuser=0
  5. Nations who qualified more than 1 boat in World Championships can't take part in continental tournaments. China qualified 5 boats. Also Japan qualified 1 boat already so they can only qualify 1 boat in Asian qualification
  6. Entries for Sailing Last Qualifying Tournament Men Windsurfer – IQFoil : Dayne Edgar Agnelo Coelho, Saurabh Kumar Kite: Chitresh Tatha Skiff – 49er: Prince Kurisinkal Noble / Manu Francis, Anand Thakur / Satyam Rangad Women Windsurfer – IQFoil : Ishwariya Ganesh, Katya Ida Coehlo One-Person Dinghy – ILCA 6: Nethra Kumanan Mixed Two-person dinghy – 470: Ravindra Kumar Sharma / Shraddha Verma , Sudhanshu Shekhar / Uma Chouhan Nacra 17: Siddeshwar Indar Doiphode / Ramya Saravanan Realistically, only Nethra Kumanan is good enough to qualify. Surprisingly, pair of Varun Thakkar and KC Ganapathy who qualified in 2020 in Men's Skiff and participated in 2023 World Championships are not here
  7. We are sending two women in Para rowing. I think we didn't want to qualify in women's rowing by 'accident'. Atleast we sent a women's team in Asian Games
  8. The rules changed this time. Already nations like qualified two boats in their respective continental tournaments. Additionally, can't participate and can qualify only 1 boat
  9. Wrong! We can qualify two boats. ( There is no gender restriction) This is self-explanatory from the rowing qualification document.
  10. Its a shame we are not sending any women scullers, not for qualification purpose but for experience. We lack so much in our women’s rowing programme. Hopefully we can get the men’s quotas. Do you know if we are sending a team for sprint canoe asian Olympics qualifiers? We did send a team for World championships.
  11. Entries for Asian & Oceania Continental Qualification Regatta starting 19 April Single Sculls - Balraj Panwar Lightweight Double Sculls - Arjun Lal Jat / Arvind Singh If Asian Games 2022 results are replicated, we shall qualify in both Single Sculls and Lightweight Double Sculls
  12. 66 Indian athletes have qualified for Paris 2024. Here are all the quotas secured by India till now... https://thesportsgram.in/2023/10/09/india-at-paris-2024/
