After the third round for the women, the following countries looking for an Olympic quota are still in:

 

Portugal has two athletes and is looking for two quotas. Peru has two athletes, one of whom is already qualified from the Pan-am games (they are eligible for a quota here, though). One athlete from and one athlete from are not eligible for a quota.

 

We are now starting the truly insane gauntlet that is the men's repêchage rounds.

She will face Spencer from , Rosas  and Lopez

 

Peruvian has a provisional quota and Spencer can't get it. But the american is one of the best surfer performances imo so far.

Hopefully surfing gets a tripartite spot per gender in 2024 now that they have a few more quotas. There are a lot of tripartite-eligible Central American countries who have strong surfers that may narrowly miss out on qualifying.
