In the past years, on more than one occassion he has accidentally congratulated someone on their birthday, only to later realize the person had already passed away (like a famous Dutch author who had committed suicide). Yesterday: "Tomorrow, 7 October, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin turns 70 years old. The past few years I barely dare say happy birthday to anyone anymore, but I gladly make an exception for Putin."
