The tendency of USA having stronger athletics than swimming will continue I see. Especially on the women's side their team is scary deep.

Wasn't it something to do with the athletics stadium being needed by a different sport because a season starts (american football?) so they couldn't use it in the last week of the olympics?

It’s about the swimming venue being used for opening ceremony and needing time for the transition.

 

The reason the Olympic swimming venue isn’t getting used for the Paralympics is because they need to get it ready for the NFL season.

I was thinking about the paralympics situation then. At least I was half right, it is because of the NFL🤣
