Qualifies with a match left against the weakest opponent in the field

Alfred Dela Pena qualify in men's single, meanwhile Priscila Tommy qualify in women's single.

Fun fact: This is Tommy's second Olympics, the first being back in 2008.

NZL declined Dela Pena's quota. that will return to the World Ranking

OK, I understand they have a policy, but if they want to reject a quota why bother to participate in a "qualifier" !? that wasn't a continental championships, just the Olympic Qualifier.

I don’t understand it either, but I think they might just be competing in the event for international experience.
