Our countrys are big rivals in some sports and i take it "natural" that you support France in a football match with Argentina, its your decision to doesnt support Argentina anymore and its ok, im nobody to tell you to make the contrary.

Our particular idiosyncrasy make that the world doesnt understand  well, for us is just "football folklore" and nothing more, where you can use whatever thing you have to annoyng the rival with songs and nothing more, the song "against" France was a very quiet one, even i have friends who were very surprised that the french were ofended with that.

 

In all my life, only once i listen a song from football that i say "this is too much" and it is a song of Chacarita against Atlanta (the jewish team), and it makes references of the holocaust, but it is only that.

 

I dont pretend to you or another "non argentinian user" from the forum acept this but may be can understand better the "why".
