You should also get some tickets for women's cross-country skiing, so you can cheer on fellow Totallympian @brunamoura (assuming she'll qualify, which for now is quite likely) :d

I think Cortina and Bormio both have certain train stations from where a shuttle bus will leave, I'll see if I can find that page somewhere.

Edit: This page:

All the info for the Venues of Milano Cortina 2026

For Bormio, you can take a train to Tirano, for Cortina Dobbiaco or Ponte nelle Alpi. Keeping in mind all of those places will also have a German name, like Dobbiaco = Toblach, so keep an eye out for that :p

Heeeeeeeeey!

Thank you so much for your reply! It will definitely help us in some way! And great! We'll definitely check the logistics and tickets to see Bruna! We hope she qualifies, we're rooting for her!

Well. With new tickets for sale I got a few additions meaning that my schedule seems full:

Feb 13: Fly to Milano, possibly a bit of tourism

Feb 14: :SWE-:SVK and :USA-:DEN

Feb 15: :SUI-:CZE and :CAN-:FRA

Feb 16: Move to Bolzano

Feb 17: Biathlon men's relay

Feb 18: Cross-country team sprint

Feb 19: Nordic Combined Team sprint

Feb 20: Biathlon Men's mass start

Feb 21: Back to Milano

Feb 22: Go home

Pretty happy about that one. Would have liked some speed skating during the days in Milano but they were just much too expensive for me.

Who knows, maybe see you there :d

I know I also have biathlon tickets but I have no idea which ones exactly, need to start putting things together. I know the women's sprint is among them so, if plans work out well, Bruna and I and my family (and her employees) all come and cheer for Baiba Bendika :d

Hi guys,

Last minute plans to check off 2 items from my bucket list:

1. Watch the winter olympics
2. See the northern lights

Contemplating going for some ski jumping action, have always been fascinated! May put in a few hockey games. Short track speed skating and figure skating are a bit too expensive.

Is anyone here going to attend any ski jumping event? I am targeting Men's LH on the 14th and trying to plan my itinerary around it. Would it be worth it? Men's super team on the 16th is also an option but was hoping to leave for Tromso, Norway to chase the lights around that time too (hence preferring the event on the 14th).

Please let me know if you have any opinions. Thanks :)

We booked our appartments today, one for myself, Bruna (who will of course only stay a few days, until she goes to the Olympic village if all goes well) and her parents, one of my dad and my sister and by a stroke of luck, in the same building :cheer:

Location looks to be amazing, in a nice little town, Tramin, which is quite literally the birthplace of the Gewürztraminer grape/wine and has a ton of wine shops and producers and such, that's gonna be a three week long tasting :d

Only just noticed this. Tramin is indeed a lovely little village.  Have been there a couple of times in the summer!

Is there any information about the shuttle services running from railway stations to the stadiums, specifically for Ora Auer-Predazzo for ski jumping?

I am contemplating reaching Ora on event day around 5pm for a 7pm event. It's a 47 minute drive on google maps to the ski jumping stadium in Predazzo. But I don't know what the shuttle timings would be.

Also, would they allow small bags inside venues? Or any luggage storage systems?
