China reported a Chinese patient back from Iran today, disclosed every flight, train, taxi number she took, and try to find everyone seats near her requiring quarantine.

They have shut their borders, so as long as they can catch people quickly, shouldn’t be too much of an issue (hopefully)

I guess you don't know much about borders between Iran and Pakistan. and Pakistani government doesn't have total control inside the country let alone the borders. they only "claim" they shut the borders. Iran only controls those borders because of terrorist groups inside Pakistan which wasn't active recently so I assume the border control is not strict these days. btw there are not much travel between Iran and Pakistan, comparing for example to Iran and Afghanistan which shut the borders for half a day but then re-opened it since they weren't able to manage the situation near the borders.

as I showed that iran map, for now the virus is not much active in Southeast of the country but when it does, we will see positive cases in Pakistan too. that province next to Pakistan is the poorest in Iran, so I assume people travel less to that region, but on the other hand it has the worst health system.

    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
