Hmm, suspect that the reason Russia gets a clean bill of health is that they are not testing for it.  Given that there’s a 4000km border with China and daily trains....

Russia seems to be very nervous about the virus. It's the second country (right after North Korea) close its border with China and suspend trains at a very fast response. And put evacuees from Wuhan quarantined in a remote Siberian town. Maybe it's true because they took some precautions. Also Russia is willing to host all kinds of influential sport events canceled due to the virus including short track speed skating WC but declined by ISU.
