I could care less for Avengers or GoT. Thankfully in a month i won't have to hear about both of them.

I couldn't understand people are craving to watch Avengers... Even those who already watched it buy another ticket a week later to rewatch :dunno:

Even I know a guy who fainted in a cinema toilet because he hold his pee for the movie :dunno:

Meh.

Spoiler

The dragon death was sudden and sad, but the rest of the episode was just a lot of long posturing.

Spoiler

Dragon was killed way too easily, it was just disrespectful to a character. The same with Ghost, he was like a Jon's shadow in the beginning of the series, and now they're throwing him away to save on the budget.

How Dany couldn't spot dozens of ships in an open sea is beyond me.

Spoiler

Some positives and some negatives.

I liked the focus on the possible conflict between Jon and Dany with both the Stark confrontation, Lord Varys doubting Dany and her very clear discomfort with the support in the North.

Also in general Jaime's role in the episode was interesting.

Meanwhile the whole situation at Kings Landing was disappointing. Appealing to Cersei the way he did considering that you're down to one dragon (and the enemy has plenty of weapons to take it down) and your army is almost whiped out. The reaction from Cersei was interesting, but that was about it

The Bronn-scene was rather pathetic as well. I really like the character, but it felt empty and unfinished.

The death of Rhaegal too easy? Don't know if I agree. They became careless, but that was about it...

The scene in front of the gate doesn't make any sense. Why exactly weren't they shooting those big arrows at the dragon that was just sitting right there? Why did Cersei even care about what Tyrion had to say?? She hired an asassin to kill him two episodes ago but now orders the archers to not shoot when he's just in front of her? lol

    • Noel- 1st place today after 1 run, Amiez- 3rd place... Vinatzer is a talent similar to Noel, so I ask where are his results, where are the other skiers in the lead of classification? Did they really think they would ride on one Gross and Razzoli until 2026?
    • The problem of the Italian federation is that her system doesn`t work and we can`t afford to lose talents like Colturi. Our slalom does not exist, whether among women or men. We are currently at a level under that Croatia in women and Bulgaria in the men's category. There is no progress, in fact there is regression, because while Vinatzer often didn`t finish runs a few years ago, when he did finish he was able to be in the top. Now he either doesn`t finish or is around 20th place, like now. In the women's category the peak of our abilities is Peterlini, who regularly placed around 20th place in the World Cup... If we can`t afford to invest more than Albania and that with the Winter Olympics in a year at home, so I think we can really dissolve our ski sector and focus on something else... If the federation is satisfied with such low levels, let them continue   Btw. maybe it's better investing in private teams like Colturi, if it works? I'd like have 1-2 Colturi in private teams, who will stand on the podiums of the World Cup, than a national team consisting of 5-6 average skiers, who can take 20th place at most, if they finish the race at all...

    • IMO the Italian federation was right in not giving to that financial and political blackmail - had they accepted it, plenty of more established athletes in snow sports could have asked for more under the threat of changing nationality. It's not like they had a sports almanac from the future saying that that 15yo girl would have won 5 olympic gold medals and 5 overall world cups.
    • Allez  He tried to pull this one lots of time and finally managed to go all the way.
    • Nonsense. Chamizo moved to Italy, married an Italian, he's still here after many years and was essentially banned from competing for Cuba. Colturi's tie to Albania is that the Albanian federation had invested a ton of money in her mother's business (élite and very costly academy for young skiers), and then gave her a role, and probably another big salary, as a director in exchange for the pomise of their first winter Olympic medal. A better comparison is to that archer who competed for Ivory Coast because her father had a big clothing business in the country.
