For the Group A Burkinafaso is not easy , they abondonned  previously giving the chance for kenya to qualify to the African cup

I remember when Niger defeated Egypt

Djibouti is not a nation of football but they have good runners in 800 1500

anyway winning the group means nothing   the last round will be very tough , it depends of draw ,the Group J :fingers:

looks like FIFA is going to postpone World Cup qualifiers in Asia in March and June to late 2020. some of these matches in March are simply impossible to happen. for example Hong Kong coming to Iran !

I think that's probably a good news for our NT, while they beat Hong Kong anywhere in the world but playing crucial home matches against Iraq and Bahrain in neutral venue or empty stadiums was the last thing we would want. right now we don't even have a league.

It's a good news for every asian country. No one wants to travel right now regardless of the destination. And those football stars currently in European leagues won't be distracted and concentrate on the qualifier later.

This is fair and balanced. The hex also becomes the oct.

Numbers don't add up for the final round. It's 14 games but in 5 international windows (so, 10 matches)?

June 2021: 4 matches

September 2021: 2 matches

October 2021: 2 matches

November 2021: 2 matches

January 2022: 2 matches

March 2022: 2 matches

June 2022: Inter confederation playoff

    • It's all hogwash especially in the short attention span generation. Like nobody cares about Free Tibet anymore either. Free Palestine will last a lot longer due to Saudi Arabia becoming a sponsorship force in sports.   Israel is too weak in soccer to qualify from UEFA zone. The only time they qualified was from the Asian zone and they only beat Australia & New Zealand who were complete nobodies in the 1960s. No such luck in the 60 years since.
    • Oh I assure you FIFA dodger a bullet with Israel not qualifying…   But ya that’s kind of the thing, shut up and dribble is a mantra anti LGBT people have used often. I don’t think it’s hypocritical to remind them of their position
    • Ah, yes but that's not how pro athletes are taught in North America these days? Shut up & dribble is xenophobic, racist or whatever? The hypocrisy of some of these policies were exposed during 2022 World Cup already where the Saudis played it smart and waved their own "Free Palestine' slogans. Forget LGBT rights for a moment, how many 'Free Palestine' flags will be waved in 2026? Or will those be confiscated by default? Somehow I feel this won't be met with similar backlash when China clamped down on 'Free Tibet' in 2008 OG. Saudi Arabia is more important to global markets than Iran & Egypt
    • Wisła Płock just assumed 1st position after five consecutive draws. Must be first time ever a team on a five match winless streak actually moves up to league top.
