Archery has some notable changes to its qualification procedure, especially in the team events.

FIBA, as always, continues to surprise.

Firstly, they do not guarantee France automatic quotas in classic basketball (subject to Central Board decision).

Secondly, as in Tokyo, they do not give automatic quotas for host nation in 3x3 basketball. I hope that the women's national team will pass according to the world ranking or through OQT, and then the men's team will receive a quota as a host country.

They managed to make the 3x3 qualification system even worse.

Unbelievable.

3x3 ranking list now only counts the top 25 players from a country, with a maximum of 9 results per players...Mongolian schoolgirls will spend more time studying in 2023.

interestingly UWW gives no quota to the host country (in Tokyo Japan was guaranteed 1 quota for each gender in case they fail to qualify and everybody knew they won't)

I believe France will qualify at least 1 or 2 wrestlers (most probably in the women's side)

but nothing is guaranteed for them. it's possible to not see a single French wrestler in Paris 2024!

I'm confused about shooting, on the bottom of page 4 it says

"One NOC can obtain only one quota place in any of the individual events at one designated ISSF Championship."

Does that mean nations can't earn two quotas in the same event at the same qualifier?

That makes things interesting, but I could be reading it wrong.
