With this year's tournament behind us, it is now time to look ahead to next year's 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Stockholm and Herning and now the groups for the championship have been revealed. The 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship has been a great success with top-tier hockey and wonderful atmosphere. It's now time to look ahead to the next ice hockey celebration. In May 2025, it will finally be time to fully enjoy the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Sweden and Denmark and tickets will be released on 3 October 2024. One group’s games two quarter-finals, the semi-finals as well as bronze and gold medal games will take place in Stockholm, Sweden while the second group’s games and two quarter-finals will be played in Herning, Denmark. The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) and the Organizing Committee have released the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship groups. The groups for Stockholm and Herning are based on the World Ranking taking into consideration organizational wishes by the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Organizing Committee.
