That being said, I think Spain acted poorly here. Brazil and Argentina don't recognize Kosovo either but had no problems with their participation at the olympics and YOG (played anthem, displayed flag, etc).
It's not possible to separate sport and politics completely (because everything is politic in truth), but we should do the best effort.

to be honest Olympics is totally different story than a WCH , but i think each country doesn't want to host some countries that they know very will they will participate can simply don't organize sporting tournaments especially major events , i don't think think putting a flag inside a stadium is something that will bring shame to the country

    Host Venues
    (yes, you read that right)

We're switching things up a bit with the venue, or shall I say 2 venues. The opening ceremony venue will be held at Walt Disney World, while the show itself will be held at Amway Center.

    About Disney World:

In 1955, a brand new theme park was built in Anaheim, California. This park was the idea of Walt Disney and became known as Disneyland. At the time it was one of the biggest and most innovative parks in the world. The ideas behind Disneyland was that Disney could create a place where both kids and adults can go and have fun. From the time of opening, Disneyland became an immediate success.
In the mid-1960's, Walt Disney wanted to build another park in Florida, based on the concept started in Disneyland. In 1971, the concept became a reality when Walt Disney World opened in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Unfortunately, Walt Disney passed away in 1966, and never had the chance to see his vision for the park come to fruition.
The original idea was to create a new park similar to Disneyland, but with other aspects such as lodging areas and other novel ideas. One of the most creative and innovative ideas that Disney had was the creation of the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. This area, known as EPCOT was to be an area that served as a testing ground for ideas which could be used in cities in the future. These ideas for EPCOT sprang from concepts of the future that were seen in the World's Fair.
Over the course of time, Disney World has become one of the most popular destinations for tourists in the world. In fact, the Magic Kingdom which is at the heart of Disney World is the most popular theme park in the world with nearly 17 million visitors going through the park on an annual basis. In addition, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom and the Hollywood Studios attractions are also ranked in the top ten for visitors. Through the course of time, Disney World has increased in size and attractions to become a place that has something for everyone.

    About Amway Center:

From its signature spire and modern architecture to its public spaces and comfortable amenities, the Amway Center is an iconic destination to Central Florida and beyond. The Amway Center features a modern mix of metal and glass exterior materials and the spire serves as a beacon amid Orlando’s vibrant downtown.
With an ultimate capacity of more than 20,000 seats, the arena was designed to respond to its distinct urban setting while revealing the activities occurring within. Bounded by Church Street, Hughey Avenue, South Street, and Division Avenue, the Amway Center’s primary entrance faces north to Church Street, creating a natural extension of the nearby downtown entertainment core. The Church Street entry features a large public entry plaza connecting to the Amway Center’s spacious entry lobby.

Welcome to the 2018 Totallympics Open International Song Contest

The day has finally come. 2 months after we sent out a call to participate in the premiere forum musical competition event, the American delegation will like to welcome you to the 2018 Totallympics Open International Song Contest, our 11th edition overall, our 6th open edition, and it also marks the 5th anniversary of the very first edition that began in the fall (or spring for you southern hemisphere folks) of 2013. But before we get to any of that, let's hear the national anthem of the United States, the Star Spangled Banner, but it's performed by 7-year-old Malea Emma

    Medals for Argentina and Mexico!

What a year for gymnastics in Latin America! Three World Championships medals for Mexico (artistic, aerobics and trampoline), one for Brazil (artistic) and one for Argentina (trampoline). If only Colombia had won a medal, this would have been the perfect year for us. But I'm quite happy, alright! I would never have dreamed Latin America would do so well this year! AMAZING!

    TISC Team Challenge Guidelines -
    USA 2018

The team competition consists of 7 teams of 5 nations each. Each team is based in a different region. Each team also has a designated captain who will be of extra significance to their team in terms of opportunities to score an extra bonus and who could have a role in breaking potential ties between teams in the final TISC Challenge rankings The TISC Team Challenge will be held in a relay format with a different team member covering each of the 5 legs. Each leg will last for a total of 7 consecutive votes. Leg 1 will involve the votes of the juries positioned 1-7 in the voting order; leg 2 will involve the votes of the juries positioned 8-14 in the voting order; leg 3 will involve the votes of the juries positioned 15-21 in the voting order; leg 4 will involve the votes of the juries positioned 22-28 in the voting order; and finally leg 5 will involve the votes of the juries positioned 29-35 in the voting order. The running order of the relays is displayed on the scoreboard. Only the score of the team member taking part in that specific leg will count for the team score. If the scoring team member fails to score throughout their entire leg, the team takes a forfeit in the form of -25 penalty points. If two team members from the same team fail to score throughout their respective legs, their team will be eliminated from the team competition. In the unlikely event where only 2 or fewer teams avoid elimination, elimination will count as a team forfeit of an additional -100 penalty points. Eliminated teams still cannot place higher than non-eliminated teams in the final team ranking. Additional bonus or penalty points can be awarded to teams who achieved one or more of the following achievements:
5 team members scoring a maximum 12 point score on their leg 25  4 team members scoring a maximum 12 point score on their leg 15  3 team members scoring a maximum 12 point score on their leg 10  2 team members scoring a maximum 12 point score on their leg 5  Team Captain scoring a maximum 12 point score on their leg 5  Team member failing to score on their leg -25
2 or more team member failing to score on their legs EL

If there is a tie between two or more teams once all 5 legs have been completed, the highest and lowest scoring members for each team will be discarded, and the scores of the 3 middle scoring team members will be used to determine the tie-break. If there is still a tie, only the score of the team captains will be used to determine the tie-break. If there is still a tie, the team with a higher Fair Play ranking will win the tie (the team awarding least points to their own team members are ranked highest in the Fair Play rankings). If there is still a tie after the tie-break rules have been applied, the teams will be deemed to have tied for position.

Although Antarctica has not participated in TISC with an entry, progress was made earlier this year when they ceased their 4-year long boycott of TISC and accepted an invitation to be part of the TISC Jubilee celebrations as a special guest of honour. The reconciliation was hailed as a huge success after years of conflict with TISC which culminated in Antarctica setting up their own rival to TISC, named WINTERFEST, and setting out to sabotage many editions of TISC during that period. As part of the Jubilee's reconciliation process, Antarctica agreed to end their boycott of TISC and also to disband WINTERFEST.
As a special tribute, let's look at Antarctica's entry in the final-ever WINTERFEST that took place earlier this year.

Not everyone can afford to go to Europe/Asia to compete. If you look at their performances here, it's consistent with what you'd expect a top 30 athlete would get. Is there a chance that they would miss out in a non-continental qualification system? Perhaps, but you could say the same about anyone who isn't consistently in the top 15.

We can discuss the other cases, but since 2013 I don't see any other gymnasts coming close to what Biles does.

She had an off day with two falls and a not so great floor exercise. Despite that, she still deserved the title (I guess she was a bit overscored, but in the end wouldn't have made much of a difference). It's not her fault that the system favours difficulty. It's not a great look when a gymnast with a fall wins gold (that also happens frequently in figure skating), but unless FIG changes the code, the win for Biles was fair.
