Last weekend I attended the Grand Prix Sudamericanos Estrella Puente - Darwin Piñeyrúa.

Las Vegas sevens is on and Chile tied South Africa
 
Chile has been improving a lot in sevens lately, in january they defeated a mixed A/B team of us in a tournament of lower importance. I'm starting to feel insecurities about olympic qualification, sevens can be random at times.

heartbreaking for Uruguay they almost had a great comeback in last 3-4 minutes. they were down 12 or 13 but at the end they were just a 3 pointer away from the overtime but they missed it.
 
Puerto Rico is the last qualified teams. people talk everywhere about how bad is this system and blah blah but at the end of the day we have only 3 "surprises" , Cameroon in Africa, and Croatia and Slovenia. the other 29 teams were predictable to qualify. and I only feel sorry for Cameroon here. they were victim of that stupid format in Africa. if they had both groups at the same dates we would have a different team in the World Cup. even though in general this comparing teams from different groups idea and having the best .3rd/4th placed teams to qualify without playing an extra game was stupid.

Tonight at Frisco, Texas:
Eleider Álvarez and Sergey Kovalev will have a refight for the WBO light heavyweight title. Richard Commey and Isa Chaniev will fight for the IBF lightweight title Óscar Valdez will fight Carmine Tommasone for the WBO featherweight title.

And don't forget GT3, it's very competitive.

They just defeated Japan, so who knows.

Today it's round 1 of the Americas Rugby Championship. It's raining right now in Montevideo, so I'm not sure if I will attend.

In terms of action I'd place MotoGP far at the top anyway in the past two or three years. 

One of our female players signed with Olympique Lyon. The most important news for our women football ever, I think.

Excuse  my total ignorance. I saw some races, and swimmers spend 70% of the distance underwater doing dolphin kick, rather than actually swimming the appropriate style. I think it makes no sense at all.
