  1. Yes there is in the that joke. I’m “mocking” people who seriously push those theories. I’m making fun of them, so that others don’t follow that train of thought. You are right, we should be saddened by the loss of life, and not be distracted by people pushing conspiracies about the incident.
  2. Real talk, Racine Carrée is one of the greatest albums of all-time. That’s also coming from a non-French speaker, so you know it must be good.
  3. I find find just unassuming. I’m not a fan of public of affection, but I’m sure as hell not stopping anyone from doing it bevies it’s their choice.
  4. That might be the reason . This my position as well. If people don’t like it that’s okay, just don’t complain about it everytime you hear about it or see it. I’m allowed to confront someone’s opinion with mine when they voice theirs. However, those who don’t not speak out when LGBT are killed, tortured, etc. are just as guilty as those who do the killing.
  5. Or it’s a reflection of the grim “realities” of American life. It’s satire. If you don’t get satire, I can’t help you.
  6. Two words: toxic masculinity
  7. Best album of the decade was either Racine Carrée or Evolve/Night Visions
  8. True. Fair point. As a comedian the line can be crossed. The difference is that the joke I made is about what people actually think happened to that plane. I didn’t joke about the one that got shot down, but I joked about the mystery surrounding the flight. If you don’t understand the difference between mocking people for their crazy beliefs, and making fun of a terrorist incident, then that’s on you.
  9. Is that the one that got shot down, or the one that disappeared? If it’s the one that got shot down, the Russian rebels did it (with the help of the Russian government) If its the one that disappeared, it was aliens, the Illuminati, or the hand of god that did it.
  10. Which is also a problem since toxic masculinity is an issue closely related to LGBT rights...
  11. Sometimes I just can’t with you. It’s a real shame you believe stuff like this.
  12. It’s most certainly not. Climate Change is an actual universal (non-political because it will effect everyone and everything) problem, letting LBGT live in peace isn’t. Also, and again, there are people who care about what’s happening in Syria, Libya, Donbas, Mali, and Nigeria. There are reporters that put their lives on the line daily to try and bring these issues to people’s attention. This anti-journalist, anti-fact way of thinking that people on both sides of the aisle are adopting is very dangerous. The attitude of joking about LGBT (as some type of punchline) is very much part of the issue towards acceptance and tolerance.
  13. Or you should fight for what you believe in, and your family and closet friends should be supportive of you.
  14. If you think of LGBT people as only political, you’re seriously wrong. Asking for acceptance isn’t wrong. Asking to not be killed, jailed, and tortured because of the way you naturally feel isn’t wrong. It shouldn’t matter who there’s more of. A good democracy always supports minorities rights, just the same as a majorities.
  15. Full replay of the tournament:
  16. And that’s a problem. It’s people outside the closet who should be adapting, not people inside.
  17. There’s no winning when people are constantly losing, and this mentality we have towards to the LGBT community is gross, and quite honestly near Nazi-like since you actually didn’t even contest my above post. You actually seemed to sickeningly confirm it.
  18. Noted @Monzanator is okay with oppression and suicide. These are not important problems to him, and hence people should give up their humanity
  19. Still doesn’t answer the question of why everyone/anyone needs an intro? (I’m not saying I’m against what you have planned, just that some context would be nice (or even a rough calendar))
  20. So LGBT people being forced to remain anonymous in the closet in many countries around world, and then killing themselves to no longer have to deal with the pain is adapting? Also, no dash in gender neutral
  21. Then why are you complaining that everyone else wishes to follow the rules we voted upon?
  22. I’m arguably the most progressive user on this forum, let’s not get into talks who adapting, Mr. LGBT Is Just Propoganda ?
  23. Yes! Let’s just all wait 30 years to make changes that need to made! What a beautiful fucking system! Humanity has really figured out civilization now!
  24. Somehow their are four major arguments, about four completely different issues, in four completely different threads right now. What is happening to Totallympics! It’s going to be a long night for the mods I’m afraid...
