Yeah NASCAR overshadows the Indy 500 in the US. Most people have heard of the Indy 500, Monaco Grand Prix, and LeMans 24. Sebring 12 and Daytona 24 are a big deal in the US. Sebring 24 seems awfully long

It’s weird to see Indy on here as the “most important”. It’s maybe in top 5 of most important races in the US. I do agree it definitely is up there though, but I’d still say LeMans is the crown jewel of autosport. I think if we were to rank by type, it would look like this Endurance: LeMans 24 Rally: Dakar Open-Wheel: Monaco/Indy Stockcar: Daytona 500 Supercar: Bathurst 100 Moto: Isle Man TT

That’s honestly a pretty insulting statement. It’s not really true, and it seems a bit unfair to disqualify the athletic ability required to compete at this level. I don’t go around saying “pants that show you bulge, shorts stuck to your ass, my grandpa can go that speed” when talking about road cycling.

I’m glad the federation lets people use this, but it’s not really a great resource then. The amount of federations lacking good results areas is appalling. I’ve been able to save virtually nothing from the African Games this year. I place the majority of the blame on the organizers, but it would be nice of the IFs could fill that gap

I’m curious as to you guys think it the most important race in the world? I’d say LeMans personally. The other “important” races would be Daytona 24, Daytona 500, Sebring 12, Bathurst 12, Monaco Grand Prix, Indy 500, Isle Of Man TT, Dakar Rally, V8 1000 (forget the name of the track).

Ford was the big loss. I didn’t know they had plans to pull out. That will hurt the WEC too. Nissan isn’t too much of a loss since they most help privateer teams, and those teams can just find a different manufacturer. I believe (last I read) that Nissan (and potential Ford) are working on the new Hypercars for the WEC.

I really wish the Chinese government wasn’t so oppressive. There’s so much they actually do right (of course there’s also an insane amount of things they do wrong). I’ve been super impressed with how they’ve handled this outbreak.

I credit sevens for really opening up the American market to Rugby. I’d say it’s gotten more popular since it was added to the Olympics.

I thought it looked insanely small . That’s really weird since IMSA is well established now, and the economy isn’t shit. I have no clue why there’s less entries. Hopefully this isn’t a sign to come for LeMans this year.
