There will never be enough games

It’s official. 2021 is worse than 2020. There’s literally zero multi-sports games left besides an Olympic that might not happen. At least 2022 will be epic

Ideally all approved games/activities will be free. Virtual Regatta is the Sailing app, and it will most likely be an event. Giovanni has suggest World Golf Tour as the Golf program.

I’m surprised they’ve only just made this official. I believe we’re just over a year out from the scheduled dates. The dates are already an issue too since they conflict with the World Combat Games in Kazakhstan!

We broke away from the tranny of the European date system. It’s the real reason we fought the War of Independence.

There’s a lot of things that you just don’t find in circulation. I’ve noticed in general that their isn’t a lot available from Jakarta/Palembang.

What’s better is when I’m looking at a date for the European Games or Asian Games, and I think “wow! Belarus’s calendar has 30 months!”

I dislike many things about my country, but you know I will defend our date system until my last breath!

There’s still millions of players, and thousands of leagues though. The structure is much worse, athlete development model is worse, management and coaching is worse, it costs more to play, and pay is worse for those who do make it far.

That sounds way too intelligent for the US.

I’m surprised that 5 subs are a thing in Euro. Once you’re at U10 level and above it’s 3 subs in all leagues in the US.

Of course, but it’s a cool piece of history to own too. The majority of them I see for sale (generally 1-5 a year) come from Eastern European athletes who need the money, or from people who bought them from athletes and realized their weren’t “real” medals (as in gold, silver, bronze). It’s a little known fact that media generally receive medals for their work at these events. I don’t think the World Games award them, but it would be nice if they did in 2022. @Vojthas should be able to pick up one in 2023 (unless Poland is cheap, and well...I won’t comment further on that ) assuming Totallympics Media is still around (and I don’t see what it shouldn’t be).

So 65 is fair then, but the $15 shipping is an pain in the ass. I might try an offer $50 and see if they bite. Thanks.

I will say that they are incredibly nice people though. I’ve gotten a mix of answers I liked or didn’t liked, but they always answer my questions and make the offer of further information if I need it. They were also nice enough to add me to their media releases.

What do you guys is the fair price for a participation medal from a major multi-sports games (not Olympics or YOG)? I have my eyes on one, but I’m not sure it’s worth it. It seems like a really cool piece of history to own, so I’m just curious what y’all think.
