Relax, my friend. I honestly think NONE of us here has enough knowledge to say anything liable on pandemics and public health matters and how to handle all of this. We are just the bunch of sports fans who would like to have a chance to enjoy some sports emotions this summer during the olympics. All the covid questions are well above our paygrades, I think. And, yes, Polish covid death and cases numbers are terrible and horrific, I am both angry and ashamed of it.

My heart says Poland obviously, but I am afraid it will be hard to overcome our quarter-final "curse". So I have picked USA. But I hope I am wrong here ;-)

I'm very happy for Lasitskene. It was very disappointing she couldn't participate in Rio. She was in a great form and never had doping issues herself. She would probably get gold in Rio. It won't be that easy in Tokyo with strong Ukrainian challenge. Women's high jump may be one of the most entertaining events in athletics.

@Vektor Sydney 2000 E 10 video has big parts of USA vs LTU basketball Semifinal. What a game that was! Such a big emotions. I remember watching this one live. LTU was so close to beating US. And USA had a team of great NBA players there (Carter, Mourning, Kidd, Payton, Garnett). Thanks for reminding that. Before Sydney nobody really believed that beating USA NBA team is really possible.
