  1. Sure, but it's still not as lobsided as it was in Rio (with the Netherlands only being there because of the two open water golds, which one really shouldn't count too much - if at all - in this context)
  2. Non-gold medals like this are so much better than gold medals like Dressel's.
  3. The 'bright' side though is that USA is much less dominant than four years ago.
  4. He has been sick though, to be fair (mono, if I'm not mistaken).
  5. Jacco Verhaeren is gone and they're flying
  6. 4th place for Kromowidjojo Netherlands taking a stronger step to being one of the 10 countries who are all number one in collecting 4th places! Sjöström taking silver after her broken elbow earlier this year, that is impressive
  7. Also, I feel like you've had the same UI for years, but this is the first time I see your new one (and it's an awesome one!) and somehow I already can't remember what your old one was Mind is weird
  8. Lottery attempt for the women! 1. Blume 2. Weitzeil 3. McKeon
  9. Dressel wins again, but if only he had broken Cielo's WR
  10. Time to open the last finals session with the double lottery
  11. with an average finishing position of 4th so far in these Olympics? I'd sign for that!
  12. Always good to see some players really do care about the Olympics Excellent winner! And cool women's doubles bronze! On the other hand, I'm so sad for Nina Stojanovic, her once in a lifetime chance for something big being thrown away like this
  13. Dutch commentator said this wasn't good for Germany (but more like 'it's not helping them'), how costly was this mistake in terms of the medal fight?
  14. Is cross-country held as a seperate event (on high level of course) somewhere? I like watching this, but it's much less fun for me to follow knowing that a part of the results also comes from the dressage
  15. There was indeed a protest, already well before the final. The protest would be looked at only after the final ( ) but more than likely it will lead to nothing, the athletics federation has already said.
  16. The Japanese was better though (in the 1st round clearly and in the 3rd round as well, albeit a little less clearly).
  17. Have it your way then, I'll just watch the final And am very much looking forward to it, vamos Andrade!
  18. Quite incredible actually that they're still running with those dumb pieces of paper on their bodies. Working on every detail and then you've got those things flapping around and taking away air Same for everyone, of course, but in terms of times.
  19. Damn, these Jamaicans sprinters do not like each other. At all.
