  1. After the second time it was enough for now I do normally train on my indoor bike five days a week (1 - 1,5 hour per day) but that has been significantly lowered these weeks as you can imagine. Combined with letting my girlfriend taste everything unhealthy and tasty the Netherlands has to offer this has lead to me going from 81 to 83-85kg and thus being able to break Torres' record Not to worry, starting next week I'll pick up my training again
  2. I disagree, English dude was wrestled down by one and hit down by the other.
  3. Awesome, a World Cup 2018 record I could actually break
  4. Yay, honorary citizen of Chechnya, that's the dream!
  5. It's just unbelievable. The single biggest sailing race in the world going to be decided by seconds after 70.000 kilometers of sailing around the world's seas
  6. Dongfeng might in fact have chosen the perfect course. They are hugging the coastlines and have been racing towards the finish with 11-13 km/h faster speeds than the rest, having closed the gap from 85km to 50km in a matter of two hours
  7. Keep us updated about how he's going please, any live ticker somewhere?
  8. Paris-Roubaix was a training for the Czechoslovak championship?
  9. The Volvo Ocean Race is insanely exciting today, in the last day. Less than 100km away from the finish in Scheveningen (near The Hague) and there's a few hundred meters between Brunel and Mapfre (the two remaining contenders for the win, since Dongfeng chose a completely wrong course overnight). https://www.volvooceanrace.com/en/tracker.html
  10. Three players of Kosovo's national team plus their physiotherapist have been injured in a car crash, but sadly and more notably, international Gazmend Sinani (aged 27, former Fenerbahce) died in the accident. http://www.fiba.basketball/news/basketball-mourns-loss-of-kosovo-international-gazmend-sinani
  11. As the Dutch saying (sort of) goes: "I've shot all my bullets" in those early competitions, now I'm all out
  12. Maybe having no clue about the point system makes me suck so bad in these contests
  13. Right total number of goals in the match maybe, but not like getting points for a 4-0 win for team A when you predicted a 1-5 win for team B just because you have the difference right (if that's the case now anyway, I don't even know )
  14. I agree that points for stuff like the right goals/difference (if that's the case) but wrong winner is strange, since in the end of course what counts is the winner, way more than the actual number of goals. And later on in tournaments results generally are easier to predict (since by then everyone has seen the teams play) so if anything, there should be more points for good results in early rounds/group phases. That being said, I entirely missed the question for suggestions about the scoring so I'm in no way complaining, should have been earlier with that
  15. Definitely deserved. Sad, but deserved.
  16. There's nothing more freaking German than exactly this.
  17. I mostly like several German biathletes, the day I cheer for the German football team is the day I jump off a bridge.
  18. Besides, Germany has never really done that well in Russia
