  2. very, very disappointing results for Italy... we lost 1 Gold (M4X) and 1 Silver (M4-) medal from last year in the space of less than half an hour...and earlier we saw the epic fail of our Golden Pair from 2017... we might have got even more Olympic quota than expected, but if it wasn't for the usual suspects (LM2X), we wouldn't get a single medal in the Olympic classes... definitely not a good way to enter the Olympic Games next year...
  3. women's Fours Gold: Australia Silver: Netherlands Bronze: Denmark men's Fours Gold: Poland Silver: Romania Bronze: Great Britain women's Quadruple Sculls Gold: China Silver: Poland Bronze: Netherlands men's Quadruple Sculls Gold: Netherlands Silver: Poland Bronze: Italy
  4. women's Lightweight Double Sculls Gold: New Zealand Silver: Netherlands Bronze: Great Britain
  5. it's only their fault if they were only second in their semifinal race... and in any case, it wasn't a safe gold medal at all...maybe they were the favourites before the championship started, but they already lost once to Ireland also in perfect conditions like we had 2 days ago in the semis...today's race is only the logical consequence of that one
  6. men's Lightweight Double Sculls Gold: Ireland Silver: Italy Bronze: Germany
  7. and Ireland did it again...congrats to them... good silver medal for Oppo & Ruta for the 2nd year in a row...
  8. men's Pairs Gold: Croatia Silver: New Zealand Bronze: Australia
  9. yeah, there's strong head wind going from lane 6 to 1 (just watch what happened to the Australian girls in the previous race...they started in lane 4 and finished in lane 2 )... not good conditions overall, I must say... but I don't think this was the main cause for our guy's poor performance...
  10. what a disaster by our crew... the biggest disappointment of the week so far...
  11. I don't follow Equestrian sports so closely to be able to express a qualified opinion about it...
  12. the Croatians have already gone away...
  13. and now it's time for one of the most anticipated duels of the entire competition...the Sinkovic brothers against Lodo & Vicino... hope to see a Sarasota-alike result...
  14. slightly disappointing ending for our pair... I didn't expect a medal from them, but at least they should have beaten Spain and got closer to CAN and USA... and instead they finished dead last and very far from the bronze medal contenders...
  15. and here they come the first medallists in an Olympic discipline... women's Pairs Gold: New Zealand Silver: Australia (pending jury decision, as they crossed the finish line in the worng lane) Bronze: Canada
  16. it was a joke because the Germans are not so strong in this CC phase and so they tried to make it easy... by the way, I trust @dcro...if he says that the time limit is too high, it must be true...
  17. Cross-Country Under-23 Men's Race Gold: Vlad Dascalu Silver: Filippo Colombo Bronze: Vital Albin
  18. more quota awarded in Today's B Finals... women's Fours: / men's Fours: / women's Quadruple Sculls: / men's Quadruple Sculls: /
  19. the only available Olympic spot in the women's Lightweight Double Sculls goes to
  20. yessssssss!!!!!!! Tokyo 2020 here we come!!!!!
  21. now the LW2X...it's time for the first italian crew looking for the Olympic qualification in today's session...it's gonna be really difficult, but...
  22. and the only available Olympic spot in the men's Lightweight Double Sculls goes to
  23. so, time for the B finals and the last Olympic quota to be awarded in the disciplines scheduled for today... women's Pairs last quota go to: / / / / men's Pairs last quota instead go to: / / / /
  24. oh, yes...you're right... I really thought she didn't compete for them, because she wanted to save her chance to go for Kosovo once they were recognized... I didn't remember she was allowed to start for ALB and then switch team later on... changed/fixed that sentence...
  25. they did it on purpose... ahhh, those Germans!
