  1. still, the Olympic qualification is quite far away... France is still almost 10 points ahead (and GBR + BEL are definitely uncatchable anymore, if nothing really crazy happens), which means 2 jumping faults and a double time fault (or 3 fences)... it's gonna be an interesting final, but I don't think we have a real shot at the Olympic Quota...once again...
  2. well, Netherlands started with a 4, Denmark with a 5...the course must not be that easy (I'm not watching any picture at the moment, I can only see the results on the official website)... maybe we still have a tiny chance to improve our ranking...
  3. we always pay a too high price to the time category...I just can't believe that our riders are always 10+ seconds slower than the top specialists in this kind of event...
  4. 10 more pens for Italy (Chimirri once again was the worst in the team and his score was discarded)...now we have a total of 26.74... will it be enough to make the top 10 and go through to the final?
  5. unfortunately, I think you're right...
  6. do you? I'm starting thinking that nothing is really "a problem" in this crazy Country named Italy... it's just the usual circus... and normal people have to store a lot of vaseline and other lubricants...once again...
  7. Balco-bis! Balco-bis! people never learn from their previous mistakes...sooner or later, some justice will be done again... or is there anybody who really thinks that only Russians, Chinese and small Nations' athletes are cheating like hell (especially when quite some money is on the table)?
  8. meanwhile I'm one of those thinking: "finally, they got all those big guns, who are too big not to be highly suspects"...
  9. Conyedo is still "in the bubble"...he hasn't got his new Italian passport yet... and with our government gone, it's highly unlikely that he will get it in time to participate at the world champs (even if it would only take 2 minutes to our President of the Republic to give him the full citizenship directly, bypassing all those burocratic hurdles he's facing right now...but I'm sure he won't do that...he's not the man who's going to "replace" the normal rules of our Country, even if it's for a good purpose and if it is within his power and prerogatives)...

  16. yes, it's correct, as ITA, USA and Melisa Gil have already booked their places in Japan...so, China (who's in the Final) and Germany (even if she loses the shoot-off for a place in the top 6 against the Argentinian girl) have secured their Quota Place... 2019 World Cup, Stage #7 (Lahti, FIN) Women's Skeet, Shooters qualified to the Final Caitlin Connor Wei Meng Chiara Di Marzantonio Martina Bartolomei Amber English Going to a Shoot-Off for the last place among the Top 6 Melisa Gil Nele Wissmer EDIT: Wissmer won the shoot-off and qualified to the Final

  19. no, it's 1 of the 2 historical disciplines of the Sport Climbing...it's there from the beginning of the modern era of sport climbing (1991)... Boulder is the necomer in this world (first world champs for that was in 2001)... and this combined event is just a stupid ioc farce, it has nothing to do with the nature of the sport... p.s. for those who don't know yet, the wall of the speed discipline, is a standard wall, exactly with the same lenght (15 meters now, until a few years ago it was 10 meters only) and handles position...so to have an official world record...like in swimming, athletics or any other sport based on time keeping over a standard "track"...
  20. Women's Combined, Final Result Gold: Janja Garnbret Silver: Akiyo Noguchi Bronze: Shauna Coxsey 4th, Aleksandra Miroslaw 5th, Miho Nonaka 6th, Ai Mori 7th, Futaba Ito 8th, Petra Klinger

  22. Women's Combined Final Boulder Results 1st, Akiyo Noguchi 2nd, Janja Garnbret 3rd, Shauna Coxsey 4th, Miho Nonaka 5th, Ai Mori 6th, Futaba Ito 7th, Petra Klinger 8th, Aleksandra Miroslaw Provisional Standings after Boulder 1st, Shauna Coxsey, 6 pts 2nd, Akiyo Noguchi, 7 pts 3rd, Aleksandra Miroslaw, 8 pts 4th, Janja Garnbret, 12 pts 5th, Miho Nonaka, 16 pts 6th, Petra Klinger, 21 pts 7th, Futaba Ito, 30 pts 8th, Ai Mori, 40 pts
  23. and here comes the turnaround! Coxsey wasted a big chance by not topping the second Boulder... now she's behind Noguchi and Garnbret in the Boulder section of the Combined event and all is going to get a lot more uncertain...
  24. and also Nonaka goes to the Top of the second Boulder, so she provisionally puts herself ahead of her Japanese rivals Mori and Ito for the second Japanese spot at the Olympics...
  25. 2nd Top for Noguchi...and 1st for Garnbret, but she's still in her opponents' hands... if Noguchi and, above all, Coxsey don't make any major mistake, it's a hopeless situation for the great Slovenian...
