Toto Cutugno is just a sterotype (like all those Al Bano & Romina Power's songs -I know Al Bano is the favourite entertainer of the IJF, as he's always called up to the opening ceremony of the world champs, especially when they're hosted by Countries like Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan "and friends")... probably (surely) not the most connected with a sport podcast, but still, considereing the fact that the University Games are held in Naples and surroundings, those 2 are probably the most significant Naples' songs of the last 20/30 years (after the end of the great tradition of the real Napolitan typical song)... for sure they're the 2 I like the most... meanwhile this is definitely more connected to a sport event (it was the Italia '90 Soccer World Cup Official Anthem...and Edoardo Bennato is from Naples)... finally, this is the Offial Song of the 2019 Universiade...

that's not the correct result...there were many shooters tied for 6th place, so a shoot-off was required... the correct lineup is: Diana Bacosi Albina Shakirova Panagiota Andreou Lucie Anastassiou Marjut Heinonen Chiara Cainero the 2 Italians are already qualified to the Olympic Games, the remaining 4 shooters will fight for today's Quota after a storm, the schedule has been slightly delayed...the first final of the day will start at 15.45 CET

naaa...I'm hopeless (and actually, today I'm also destroyed by an insane hot weather)... our shooting team it's not even worth my frustration anymore...

shameful performance of the Italian girls... one of the worst outing ever in the entire history of the Italian team sports... I do really feel ashamed for what I saw yesterday (and it's not only about the final score, which is still quite humiliating)... tbh, to have a performance like that, we could at least stop shopping the 3rd/4th tier Argentinian players and let our native Italian girls play (at least we would save some money)...

wow! Tunisia swept all the women's events, meanwhile Egypt won "only" 2 out of 3 Gold Medals among the men... good to see also a third Nation in the Gold Medals column...

I've never seen so much foul territory in a pro stadium, not even in Japan or at the Oakland Coliseum... frankly, I think they should have used a cricket venue rather then the Olympic Stadium (I know, it's question of seats and boxes...but still, I don't like that much the stage that has been built for those 2 games -and moreover, Yanks and Red Sox! no way! )...

and now it's time to start speculating about possible new sports/events which could/should be added to the 2026 Winter Games schedule... some Italian media have already started dreaming of Natural Track Luge (we can fairly say "it's now or never"...if there's a remote chance to see this discipline at the Olympic Games, this is certainly at the Italian Games), Ski Mountaineering and Ice Climbing...
