    As expected, we won't be winning Finn quotas. Mostly thanks to the bogus 10th race.

    Looks like Mogić was too tired after earlier efforts, but amazing ECh for him nevertheless. Blašković very close to another final, but still posting a nice PB. So we can leave these championships with an optimistic feeling. Very promising results for the future events.

    Lovely ceremony. And yes, I decided to leave internet during the past few hours, in order to recreate the 2008 experience to the fullest possible extent. Btw, it's the only ceremony that I have completely rewatched (several times). I can't force myself to rewatch any other. Tried with 2010/2012, but nope. Didn't even try with those after.

    Sadly, I can't remember. But I do remember putting alarm for 5am next morning in order to watch my first ever shooting competition. And how did that end? With totally unexpected bronze for our shooter, winning the very first medal of the Games accross all sports...

    I can remember some really specific details from that day. I remember that the sister went out before the ceremony ended. After the ceremony I remember being with our family cat and thinking how interesting it is that Bhutan competes only in archery (as the commentators suggested). After that there was a big storm in the evening.

    Btw, that was the day when I became Olympic lover. It was a hot summer day when my sister and I started to watch this very impressive ceremony. And the rest is history.
