  1. 7 silvers in 7 races for Geisenberger now.
  2. Yes. Surveying, movies and geography would be in that list too.
  3. I guess I can be play expert too in an off case something of my expertise appears.
  4. You hit the nail with one. It reminded me that I do think in English (to a certain extent) when watching dressage, since their terminology here either sounds like a dumb translation or is just non-existent.
  5. Tim Singer and Martin Haven commentating together.
  6. Some people here claim they can think in English involuntarily, but I don't exactly buy that. In my experience, people like to play the confident card when languages are concerned, for some reason.
  7. How far away from both Paris and Dakar is it held this year?
  8. Testing times for the jury. Lowering the gate would help Granerud enormously, as he failed to telemark his 143m effort yesterday...
  9. Anyone else annoyed by Eurosport constantly showing Froome running up the hill without a bike (which is illegal)?
  10. While boycotting multiple stages and entire Tour de Ski? Highly unlikely.
  11. Josef Fendt's rule of iron fist has paid off. Not only did he manage to turn luge into one nation sport, but also now a curve in Koenigssee has been named after him!
  12. Yeah, sad that famous people from Slovakia only got some lazy list, while even Malawi had a presentation by name.
  13. No, it will get restructured in their favor today (because Russia?).
  14. First Winter athlete from Tanzania! But his time is virtually useless. No chance of Olympic qualification. https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/general/athlete-biography.html?sectorcode=cc&competitorid=253856
  15. Best points collector*
  16. As feared, the said village Majske Poljane is pretty much gone. Unusual earthquake, in respect that different villages suffered different consequences. This dog.
  17. 7 casualties confirmed thus far, including 5 from the same small village near Glina (pop. 150). Widespread searches are still in progress. As for the local hospitals, most of them are damaged (collapsed roofs, no electricity etc). Patients are being evacuated to Zagreb, most of all...
  18. This happens a day after 5.0 earthquake (which only created significant material damange), so as it happens, a lot of reporters were already in town. So far one dead and tens of injured have been confirmed. Numerous people are trapped underneath the debris.
  19. That one came from live reporting. Could take some time before something more official comes through.
  20. Further reports coming in that the COVID hospital in Sisak (pop. 35k) is potentially gone...
  21. Petrinja was the epicenter. Population 24k.
  22. Oh come on. 6.3 earthquake 40 km S of Zagreb. 10 times stronger than the destructive one from March.
