  1. That's called partisanship, though. Which is pronounced in America more than anywhere else.
  2. Well, decent result for Kožica.
  3. Russian dressage team long-list... Aframeeva Marina Volonchunas Ekaterina Davidova Eugenia Zakhrabekova Irina Ivanova Olga Isachkina Regina Klementieva Maria Kosterina Tatyana Maksakova Alexandra Merkulova Inessa Merkulova is the frontrunner (good on both her and Mister X for bouncing back from near career ending fall / injury). Kosterina had a freak debut season in 2017 (17th at the European Championships), but has struggled to recapture similar form recently. Aframeeva despreately wants another Olympics. Klementieva and Maksakova have been shooting stars as of late, Isachkina has a nice horse, while Zakhrabekova stands a chance of getting selected as well. No chance - Volonchunas, Davidova, Ivanova.
  4. We should just not look at the goal differences whatsoever. On paper, Hungary's margin over Kazakhstan should be a good sign for them ahead of Greece, but yeah, some teams are just so uncompetitive that even their losing margins don't count for anything.
  5. Interesting statement, which sums it up pretty well. American liberalism has always seemed too 'Conform, or else!' for my liking.
  6. I caught up with two COVID-related films so far (Host and Locked Down)... And I don't see the appeal at all. Why would anyone want to create, watch, or engage in any way with such films at this time??
  7. Anyone getting FINA tv to watch this?
  8. Impressive victory for Olivia LaGoy-Weltz in the freestyle (81.545% PB). The last spot on the American Olympic team appears to be hers to lose. Maybe only Sabine Schut-Kerry can pose a threat. Ben Ebeling is not up to the task yet, as evidenced by yesterday's performance (74.2%). Steffen Peters and Adrienne Lyle are pretty safe, so it's all about that third spot.
  9. Yeah, National anthem gets banned and yet they still have the nerve to ask for some patriotic song instead? Come on. Is this a joke?
  10. I just want the Netherlands to qualify. It's ridiculous how some average teams qualify every time while the Dutch, who are capable of going all the way, somehow always get the bitter end.
  11. Damn, Nils van der Poel almost won a medal thanks to others withdrawing. It would have been scandalous. Roest wins the title by some 40 seconds.
  12. Apparently he learned to ski in Greece before moving to America.
  13. 12th with Bib 45
  14. Only if you count 'World Series' as a World Cup. There is probably a good reason why is it called different.
  15. Bronze for Fontanive yesterday, Hasler today.
  16. And apparently it's much worse than it looked. Taken out off course by a medical team.
  17. Jelinkova celebrates her Olympic selection with a nasty crash.
  18. But not surprising. Just ask Marvin van Heek. EDIT: Already mentioned above lol
  19. Exciting doubles finale in Oberhof.
  20. Wonderful 27th place for Crni. Still, with too many misses. At this point, I can't even remember the last time he shot clean, on either prone or stand.
  21. Loooong retired.
  22. I wonder if the IOC is taking notes...
  23. Yeah, we had a junior who took a medal ahead of JT Boe once - Dino Butković. And yes, nobody has heard of him.
  24. I am willing to bet many internet points on him changing allegiance to France before Paris 2024.
