  1. So if Rakhimov is elected we have 3 possibilities on what happens next. 1 - The IOC can back down and let the AIBA carry on as usual. That will make the IOC look very weak and I don't think they can afford to look weak again so soon after their problems with Russia. 2 - They can find another governing body to run Olympic boxing. The rumour is they are talking to one of the professional boxing organizations to run a scaled down tournament in Tokyo, Maybe with about 12 professionals at each weight. 3 - They can just cancel all boxing at Tokyo. If Rakhimov loses then the AIBA still have big problems but all the big IOC decisions will wait until after 2020.
  2. Breaking news "The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has rendered its decision in the appeal filed by Mr Serik Konakbayev, Vice President of the International Boxing Association (AIBA) and President of the Asian Boxing Confederation, against the decision taken by the AIBA Election Committee on 1 October 2018 in which his name was not included on the list of candidates standing for election for the role of AIBA President. CAS has upheld Serik Konakbayev’s appeal. Accordingly, AIBA is ordered to include Serik Konakbayev in the list of presidential candidates standing for election at the next AIBA Congress, scheduled to take place on 2-3 November 2018 in Moscow."

  9. Prediction contest. What will be the highest number? A - Score of the leading qualifier in the men's all-around. B - Total number of spectators in the arena.
  10. Don't remember that one. But I do remember this one...
  11. He will still need special permission from the IGF to compete for Slovakia in Tokyo as he was not a Slovakian citizen when the Olympic qualifying period began in July.
  12. There are 10 types of people on Totallympics. Those who can understand binary code and those who can't.
  13. How dare you insult the greatest sportsman in the world?
  14. Williams comes from the town of Caerphilly. If you've ever been to Caerphilly on a Friday night you know that the town producing women who are really good at kicking you in the face is really not surprising...
  15. I want to know how you teach a horse to use a computer....
  16. I was wondering why they asked for an 8 year ban. The only thing I could think of was that if they thought the doping happened between 2010 and 2012 they wanted to take all his results since then away.
  17. Do you know when the doping is alleged to have started?
  18. Don't confuse England, Wales and GB. Wales are very pro the AIBA bosses but England have been trying to remove those bosses for many years, England have been threatened with being thrown out of the AIBA a few years in the last 10 years. And since GB boxing is dominated by England the AIBA doesn't like them either, And I'm not English by the way in case you think I'm biased
  19. Brilliant performance by Davids of South Africa. He seems to have won all 5 heats of the boys 200m
