  1. The men lost out in the tie-breaker and will compete in the bowl
  2. The quarterfinals are now set for the Canada Sevens held in Vancouver. New Zealand, Australia and the United States could potentially qualify to the Olympics by the end of this event. New Zealand just needs to avoid Great Britain or Fiji finishing four points ahead of them while Australia/United States can qualify if they get nine more points than Great Britain and Fiji
  3. Athletics update Bolivia has qualified in men's marathon (Hector Garibay) Ecuador has qualified in men's 20km walk (David Hurtado)

  6. Looking at the start lists for the Baltic States Championships only two swimmers have entry times that are under the OQT, Kotryna Teterevkova (women's 100m and 200m breaststroke) and Eneli Jefimova (women's 100m breaststroke). A few other athletes have entry times close to the OQT. Will they be among the first to qualify to the Olympics? Results can be seen here. As for the other event, MM Maribor, start lists haven't been posted yet. The event page can be found here.
  7. Eventing Quillota (Feb 17-19) CCI4*-S Results The following have achieved CCI4*-S MER result (still require CCI4*-L) Ronald Zabala (Wundermaske) Not a good performance for Chile. Only one other person finished, Bittner who didn't have a good time in the cross-country portion.

  9. Thanks, I've updated the original post. I misread the jumping penalties. Didn't 10th fail because they got more than 16 jumping penalties?
  10. I remember that for the 2020 Olympics, the approved events for the 2019 Worlds were also approved events for the Olympics (provided they occurred during the qualification period), but I can't find if that's true for the 2024 Olympics. I guess we'll find out rather quickly if athletes from the Pro Swim Series in Fort Lauderdale appear on the Olympic qualification list.
  11. Eventing Montelibretti CCI4*-S Results The following have achieved CCI4*-S MER result (still require CCI4*-L) Alex Hua Tian (Jilsonne Van Bareelhof) Sanne de Jong (Enjoy) Nicolas Wettstein (Meyer's Happy) Manuel Grave (Carat de Bremoy) Lea Siegl (Van Helsing P) Katrin Khoddam-Hazrati (Florentine) Heidi Bratlie Larsen (Sr Lonestar My Hunter) Fabio Fani Ciotti (Bolt MCR) Nice to see a variety of nations competing at the same event. Speaking of which I still can't find the results from Quillota that was held a couple of weeks ago
  12. 14. have qualified their first athletes. They will compete in Equestrian (Team Jumping)
  15. Congrats to both nations. It's not over for Egypt, they can still qualify via the Nations Cup which will be depleted of eligible nations. A very possible scenario could have Egypt facing just Argentina and Uzbekistan for the final quota.
  16. Yeah, at this stage I'm hoping at least three Oceania nations make the top 4, more so I just want Samoa to finally make the Olympics. Europe is in the odd position of having good depth, but not having the top teams which hurts it in this qualification method.
  17. Looking at the startlist, Jordan seems to have withdrawn from the team event too. Two quotas will go to .
  18. Standings After 6/11 Events 1. - 107 (-) 2. - 86 (+4) 3. - 86 (-1) 4. - 84 (+1) 5. - 81 (-2) 6. - 77 (+2) 7. - 76 (-3) 8. - 69 (-1) 9. - 68 (-) 10. - 47 (-) 11. - 29 (-) 12. - 25 (+1) 13. - 22 (-1) 14. - 19 (-) --- - 12 (-) 15. - 8 (-) New Zealand extends its lead over the field. They can now afford a poor performance and still maintain an overall lead. Argentina finishing second moves them up to an Olympic qualification position while South Africa was swallowed by the pack. The United States had a terrible performance which hurt its chances at qualifying to the Olympics. There's still time for both them and Ireland to make a move, but it's unlikely they can afford another bowl (or worse) appearance. In terms of the fight to avoid regulation, Great Britain has solidified safe passage to next season. Spain has cut into Uruguay's lead for the last guaranteed spot. The World Series returns next week in Vancouver.
  19. What a choke by Argentina. If they figure things out they still have another chance at qualifying to the Olympics, but things will be a lot harder.
  20. I think has given up against . They need one of to lose if they want to qualify now. Given how back and forth Brazil and Puerto Rico are going against their opponents it might happen.
  21. At half-time among the Pan American nations the current odd nation out is , but it's far from over.
  22. I don't know why they couldn't do universality quotas for all events, but have it capped like they do for the 800m
  23. Semifinal for Los Angeles (Event 6) v v Argentina defeated Samoa in the quarters, can they defeat the Oceania gauntlet?
  24. Heart breaking for Iceland. They needed one more point to qualify to the World Cup. Congrats to Georgia for qualifying to their first World Cup
  25. Jumping Wellington CSI5* Results The following have achieved 3/3 MER result Daniel Coyle (Gisborne VDL) Brian Moggre (MTM Vivre Le Reve) The following have achieved 2/3 MER result Laura Kraut (Baloutinue) Mclain Ward (Contagious) Daniel Deusser (Killer Queen VDM) Mavis Spencer (Carissimo 25) Ashlee Bond (Donatello 141) Bertram Allen (Pacino Amiro) Paul O'Shea (Imerald Van't Voorhof) Darragh Kenny (Great Tikila J) Jessica Mendoza (Play) Nicola Philippaerts (Katanga V/H Dingeshof) Arturo Prada Vallejo (Bacot) The following have achieved 1/3 MER result Shane Sweetnam (James Kann Cruz) Adrienne Sternlicht (Bennys Legacy) Jordan Coyle (Ariso) Natalie Dean (Chance Ste Hermelle) Erynn Ballard (Gakhir) Bliss Heers (Antidote de Mars) Hunter Holloway (Pepita Con Spita) Alessandra Volpi (Haya Loma N) Nicholas Dell Joio (Cornet's Cambridge) Many riders decided to get their second MER while a few others got an MER on an additional horse
