  1. I noticed that too, Mexico and Guatemala won those events. I wonder what happened, they had at least 5 nations competing, which is the minimum to be an official event. 4x400m relax mixed in Athletics only had 4 nations and is counting in the medal table.
  2. TKD bringing first gold medals for and .
  3. Panama with their 5th gold today equals its last best performance which was in Panama City 1970!
  4. Guatemala to the Mixed Team final in Badminton! With no Kevin Cordon this time, he is an all time gold medalist winner for Guatemala in CA and Caribbean Games with 8 golds.
  5. 1 gold, 1 silver 1 bronze for at the beginning of Athletics, not bad. But that might be all for Guatemala in Athletics.
  6. I would have thought that El Salvador would be doing a little better than 9 medals total at this point. with the advantage to have athletes in almost all sports and being local, at least 20 bronce and silver. Maybe this second week they will do better, with sailing, athletics, karate, TKD, archery and badminton. That gold medal in Double Bowling men was for , the mexicans at last minute claim it, sooo close. I think will end with only 12 or so gold medals, about half from last edition, a change in the athletes generation, very young people, doing good so far.
  7. Ana Martinez ended with 3 silver and is going tomorrow for another medal with Team competition. She has beaten Longoria a couple times, but the mexican still the best in the world.
  8. Seems like Aruba took the gold in Women Individual Bowling, with Guatemala and Puerto Rico following.
  9. Ana Martinez is playing Racketball finals today, I hope she wins at least 1 gold, her best chance is Women Doubles, and hoping for Individual gold.
  10. Well, just this morning ESA and PAN just won 2 gold medals each in surfing!! CRC picked up a silve and a bronze.
  11. I thought El Salvador was going to be doing better than just those 4 medals so far. 20 years ago when they hosted as well, they had athletes winning silver and bronze in almost all sports. Hope they increase medals starting today. Panama is doing really well.
  12. First time ever for to win gold medal in Swimming in back to back games. Also, this is only the second gold medal for a Guatemalan male swimmer. The first one was by Luis Martinez in 100m butterfly in Barranquilla 2018.
  13. Since 2014 the games have been awarding only two medals: snatch, clean and jerk, none for total.
  14. That was very weird, because I saw this picture from last week, maybe they failed.
  15. thanks! I will read about it, this year version is over already?
  16. CCS (GUA) won first medal in Table Tennis, a bronze men team, 4 years ago did not win any, but 8 years ago won 2 bronze, men team and doubles.
