  7. Good day for () and Guatemalan women 1 gold and 2 silvers. 70% of medals during Santiago 2023 have been won by women, so far. In Santo Domingo 2003 it was 50%, highest for women.
  8. Legally, is simple, but the Constitutional Court does not want to hear the case again, because it means removing the corrupted current board. All government has been taken by corruption because they found a gold mine in it. Too sad. Maybe next year when new government takes office in January.

  10. Yay! () qualifies in Women Trap !!! Adriana Ruano
  11. 1 more medal in Racquetball for independent athletes () in Women's Team. That makes 7 total for (Guatemala) We would have reached our 100th medal in the historic but... 17. Well, our athletes without a flag () secured 2 bronze medals in Racquetball, men and women doubles! Too bad none of the medals win in Santiago 2023 will count for Guatemala's medal tally, we would have achieve our 100th medal in this games, will have to wait until Barranquilla 2027
  18. French Guiana and Sint Marteen did not participated after all. Hopefully next time they will.
  19. Guatemala got away with one gold in Badminton, after 5 finals. This new generation is doing great, hopefully the team will mature into more in a couple years. Third best performance of Guatemalan athletes at the Games, broke the record of most silver medals which was 25 set in 1950. With all the difficulties and low moral because of the suspension. Will see if with what happened here the COG will resolve the current situation so Guatemala can be present at Paris 2024. See you in Santo Domingo 2026 for the Centennial of the Games!
  20. Guatemala took away a gold from Colombia in Speed Skating with Faberson Bonilla! Colombia will not sweep this sport.
  21. Glad to see Belize participating in Canoe Sprint competitions, is not only athletics or cycling anymore.
  22. There was an explanation on a Guatemala newspaper yesterday. At the beginning there were 6 registerd athletes for the women's event and 5 for men's event, when competition started only 4 showed up for each event, and even though it runned, they were later dismissed as part of the official tally. I also noticed that they did not cancelled the 4x400m mixed relay even though only had 4 entries.
  23. Guatemala has confirmed 7 medals in Badminton, with 2 secured finals since Mixed Doubles and Men Doubles semifinals will Guatemalans facing each other. Congrats to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for its first ever gold medal at Central American and Caribbean Games! Men 800m with Handal Roban, and adding a bronze in the same day in Women 800m Shafiqua Maloney
  24. Haiti joins the medal table, by being in semifinals for TKD Women +67kgs.
