  1. More disaster for Naeslund as she fails to advance to the big final at the Arosa WC
  2. Wrong thread
  3. Bedard’s 23 pts at Junior Worlds wins for me.
  4. No stream for the individual events at the next snowboard cross WC yet again. At least they’re streaming the team event Can someone please sent a complaint on my behalf, my iCloud isn’t working for some reason. Edit, next stop of the Aerials WC won’t be streamed on CBC sports either (i believe the first one in Ruka was)
  5. Another busy week of sports. Today, absolutely nothing. Tomorrow, the FIS Ski Cross WC Arosa, and NHL (Canucks v. Lightning) Rest of the week, the WST Street Skateboarding World Championships, Men’s CEV Champions League Volleyball (Jastrzebski Węgiel v. Jihostroj České Budêjovice, and any other matches from my favourite teams), more club season volleyball (Vero Volley Monza, Fenerbahçe, Turk Hava Yollari, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit, ZASKA, Jastrzebski Węgiel, Sesc RJ Flamengo), Women’s Club Volleyball World Championships, ISU Short Track WC Seoul, Women’s Monobob WC Innsbruck, FIS Moguls WC Alpe d'Huez, FIS Freestyle Ski/Snowboard Halfpipe/Big Air WC Copper Mountain, FIS Team Snowboard Cross WC Cervinia (normally, i’m not one to complain but seriously??? no streaming for the individual events again?? getting ridiculous at this point) No men’s/women’s skeleton WC Innsbruck, men’s 2 man/4man and women’s 2 women WCs in Innsbruck, men’s/women’s luge WC Whistler, women’s downhill WC Val D’Isere, and men’s super-g WC Val Gardena (too many sports on my schedule already), along with the GSOC Masters (PPV)
  6. Nutrien AG Solutions Western Showdown Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada Lots of big names competing here. Men 1. Team Schwaller 2. Team Brunner 3. Team McEwen 3. Team Dropkin Women 1. Team Kim 2. Team Campbell 3. Team Wrana 3. Team Fujisawa Full Results
  7. Canada (10 G/6 S/10 B) Day 1- women’s 3m synchro platform (Pamela Ware/Mia Vallee- diving), women’s 4x100m freestyle relay (swimming), women’s 400m freestyle (Summer McIntosh- swimming) Day 2- women’s 100m butterfly (Maggie MacNeil- swimming) Day 3- women’s 400m individual medley (Summer McIntosh- swimming), women’s 57kg (Christa Deguchi- judo) Day 6- men’s 100kg (Kyle Reyes- judo), women’s 200m butterfly (Summer McIntosh- swimming) Day 8- men’s decathlon (Pierce LePage/Damian Warner- athletics), women’s 200m individual medley (Summer McIntosh- swimming), women’s eights (rowing) Day 9- men’s hammer throw (Ethan Katzberg- athletics), women’s 4x100m medley relay (swimming) Day 10- women’s 3x3 basketball, men’s floor (Felix Dolci- artistic gymnastics) Day 11- women’s hammer throw (Camryn Rogers) Day 13- women’s C2-500m (Katie Vincent/Sloan MacKenzie), women’s 57kg (Skylar Park- taekwondo), men’s 200m (Andre DeGrasse- athletics) Day 14- women’s C1-200m (Katie Vincent), women’s beach volleyball (Melissa Humana-Parades/Brandie Wilkerson), men’s 4x100m relay (athletics) Day 15- men’s 800m (Marco Arop- athletics), women’s 75kg (Tammara Thibeault- boxing), men’s breaking (Phil Wizard) Day 16- women’s 62kg (Karla Godinez) From this you can see that apparently Canada’s 11th medal will be it’s first silver. Totally unlikely.
  8. European Nation League Finals Semifinals Netherlands v. Spain France v. Germany
  9. Just finished it @rafalgorka @maestro @Jinzha
  10. No worries man. Whenever you have time is fine
  11. Full Paris 2024 Projected Medalists Summary Still unsure as to which weightclass Lukas Krjpalek (judo) will compete in at Paris. As for changes I’ve made, here’s a list: Rugby Sevens- Men’s Tournament Originally, it was Gold- New Zealand, Silver- Fiji, Bronze- Australia. Now, after the first two stops of the HSBC World Series, Gold- Australia, Silver- Argentina, Bronze- Fiji. Rugby Sevens- Women’s Tournament Originally, it was Gold- New Zealand, Silver- Australia, Bronze- United States. Now, after the first two stops of the HSBC World Series, Gold- Australia, Silver- France, Bronze- New Zealand. Rowing- Men’s Double Sculls/Pair Sinkovic brothers switched back to pairs for Paris, which has altered my medal predictions in both categories. For double sculls, originally it was Gold- Valentin Sinkovic/Martin Sinkovic, Silver- Melvin Twellaar/Stef Broenink, and Bronze- Aleix García/Rodrigo Conde. Now, it’s Gold- Melvin Twellaar/Stef Broenink, Silver- Aleix García/Rodrigo Conde, Bronze- Matteo Sartori/Luca Rambaldi. For pairs, originally it was Gold- Jaime Canalejo/Javier Garcia, Silver- Roman Röösli/Andrin Gulich, Bronze- Marius Cozmiuc/Sergiu Bejan. Now, it’s Gold- Valentin Sinkovic/Martin Sinkovic, Silver- Jaime Canalejo/Javier García, Bronze- Roman Röösli/Andrin Gulich Judo- Men’s +100kg Took out Lukas Krpalek as I still have no clue on which weightclass he’ll be competing in. Cuba’s Andy Granda now has bronze. Table Tennis- Men’s Singles Predicted Dario Jorgic to win bronze, now I’ve changed it to Lin Yun-Ju. Tennis- Women’s Doubles Krejcikova/Siniakova aren’t partnered up together anymore, so changed it to Siniakova/Vondrousova (IMO the third best Czech women’s doubles player) ignore: turboyev. BTW, later on I’ll also be doing a medal table/list of medalists by sport, and a list of medalists by country. This stuff takes a while to do (approximately spent around 30 hours doing these predictions) so if you could show some support it would be much appreciated. Another couple of changes in swimming, I now have Great Britain winning silver in men’s 4x100m freestyle relay (swimming), which bumps both Australia (now bronze) and Italy (out of a medal position) down. Probably gonna change women’s rugby sevens/women’s BMX freestyle/women’s C1/K1/men’s 100m and 200m butterfly predictions/men’s and women’s street/women’s freestyle wrestling too, only one bronze for New Zealand/no medal for China/same C1/K1 silver and bronze medalists/Milak on the podium/two repeat athletes on the podium for Japan/all Japan gold medalists all sound unlikely.
  12. Just finished day 16, @rafalgorka curious to hear your thoughts on the predicted medalists and final medal table (for the most part) in terms of nations. Also, I read your reply to my last one, why don’t you like Amusan?

  14. wins bronze
  15. @rafalgorka there’s a lot of teams capable of contending for a men’s beach volleyball Olympic medal on any given day. I have Bryl/Losiak losing 0-2 to Germany’s Nils Ehlers/Clemens Wickler in the round of 16.
  16. Yes, our men’s team will be replying on Venezuela to finish within the top four though.
  17. Can Boxing Canada still select her? And have they done it in the past, when second placed finishers from the Canadian Olympic Trials went on to the OQTs?
