  8. Still a couple of years to go, but why not. For my predictions, I’ll also be adding some lesser known names (mainly juniors) that have shown success before but have yet to translate it to the WC circuit. First though, I’m going to complete my Paris 2024 predictions (Day 15/16 medalists, medal summary by event, and a list of all projected medals by NOC.

  16. For the mixed 4x400m relay, United States almost never chooses their stars and instead opt for some random no names (and still somehow manage to break the WR) We’ll see which events McLaughlin will race in come US Trials.

  20. Pools have just been announced for VNL 2024. As a reminder, the top five unqualified nations in the World Rankings (including an African country, which is pretty much guaranteed to be Egypt as no African nation will be competing in events that’ll add points towards their World Ranking) after the end of the preliminary phase will qualify for Paris. Here’s the countries still in contention: Italy (342.43 pts) Argentina (313.35 pts) Slovenia (307.12 pts) Serbia (253.22 pts) Cuba (236.96 pts) Netherlands (214.58 pts) — Egypt (164.05 pts) Italy, Argentina, Slovenia are safe. Final quota will most likely between Serbia and Cuba with only Netherlands playing as a potential spoiler should both of the above teams colapse. Egypt has pretty much locked up the African quota. Week 1 (May 21-26, 2024) Antalya, Turkey Turkey Poland United States Slovenia France Netherlands Canada Bulgaria Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Brazil Italy Argentina Japan Serbia Iran Cuba Germany Week 2 (June 4- June 9, 2024) TBD, Japan Japan Brazil Poland Slovenia Iran Turkey Bulgaria Germany Ottawa, Canada Canada Italy United States France Argentina Serbia Netherlands Cuba Week 3 (June 18-23, 2024) Ljubljana, Slovenia Slovenia Poland Italy Argentina Serbia Turkey Cuba Bulgaria TBC, Japan Japan United States Italy Serbia Canada Netherlands France South Korea

Men Gold- Mikael Kingsbury (85.02) Silver- Nick Page (79.55) Bronze- Filip Gravenfors (79.53) 80th WC victory for Mikael, and his 116th career podium in 136 (!!) starts! That’s over 85% (85.29%) of the time on the podium, and over 58% (58.82%) of the time winning. Anyone know why Matt Graham and Benjamin Cavet aren’t competing? Full Results
