  1. Yep. For the 100/200m/400m (except CMW), I didn’t add any additional athletes to the total, only the maximum 5 relay athletes (so in total 15 between the 3 relays)
  2. Is there anywhere that I can watch this for free?
  3. Yeah I know, I was talking about the coach Would be really beneficial for as Scott is 3rd alternate and De-Bues Stafford is 9th alternate.
  4. So in total that’s 42 athletes, not including potential reallocations. Decent number for Canada, was hoping for more though.
  5. Madogo is 4th alternate in women’s 100m, Rynda 7th alternate in women’s 800m, Current 5th alternate in women’s 1500m, Scott 2nd alternate in women’s 5000m, De-Bues Stafford 8th alternate in women’s 5000m, Staehli 10th alternate in women’s 5000m (including Great Britain), Walker 7th alternate in women’s 400m hurdles, Fetherstonhaugh 7th alternate in women’s 3000m steeplechase, Tunks 4th alternate in women’s discus throw (including Great Britain), Butler 7th alternate in women’s hammer throw (including Great Britain), Gleadle 9th alternate in women’s javelin throw, Thorne 3rd alternate in men’s 110m hurdles. Realistically only Thorne, Scott, and maybe Current/Tunks have a chance at a quota although unlikely.
  6. Final Road to Paris is out. Here’s the athletes who have qualified. Jacqueline Madogo - Women’s 200m Adam Keenan - Men’s Hammer Throw Rowan Hamilton - Men’s Hammer Throw Simone Plourde - Women’s 1500m Regan Yee - Women’s 3000m Steeplechase Michelle Harrison - Women’s 100m Hurdles Anicka Newell - Women’s Pole Vault Aaron Brown (already qualified) - Men’s 100m Kieran Lumb - Men’s 1500m Jean-Simon Desgagnes - Men’s 3000m Steeplechase Thomas Fafard - Men’s 5000m
  7. Women’s basketball team has been announced. Kia Nurse Aaliyah Edwards Natalie Achonwa Kayla Alexander Shay Colley Laeticia Amihere Bridget Carleton Nirra Fields Yvonne Ejim Sami Hill Cassandre Prosper Syla Swords https://www.instagram.com/p/C87EF0CO5Ux/?igsh=NjIyN2ozaHpxbnV0
  8. Yep, @dodge already reported about it Thanks anyways though
  9. Same for in the men’s 110m hurdles, women’s 800m, women’s 5000m, women’s hammer throw, women’s discus throw, men’s 5000m, women’s 400m hurdles
  10. I did too, but they were all entry standards. None of the rankings have been updated yet.
  11. Just coming back to this thread… is she any good at volleyball? Could she potentially make the senior national team in the future?
  12. It’s not updated yet, some of the scores aren’t showing up.
  13. Andy Murray has withdrawn from men’s singles following his back operation. LL David Goffin replaces him in the main draw. https://www.espn.com/tennis/story/_/id/40451795/wimbledon-2024-andy-murray-set-doubles-singles
  14. team has been announced. https://www.volleyball-verband.de/de/redaktion/2024/juni/halle--winiarski-nominiert-olympia-kader/
  15. Could be better, could be worse All of Canada’s matches are at 12:00 PST. On the plus side, Canada’s first match against Slovenia (on July 28) starts right after Day 1 Finals in swimming (although unfortunately at the same time as France v. Canada in women’s football) and I’ll definitely be watching, but the second (France) and third (Serbia) matches will be much more difficult to watch (the August 3 one will be pretty much impossible with athletics/swimming afternoon/finals sessions, but I’m up for the challenge) with me requiring multiple devices on both days. Not to mention like 90% of the Olympic schedule isn’t out yet
  16. No mention for Lulu Sun? First New Zealand women to win a grand slam main draw match since Erakovic in 2016.
  17. Patiently waiting for the updated Road to Paris
  18. Casey Desmith signs with the Dallas Stars on a $3m AAV/3 years. https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/dallas-stars-sign-g-casey-desmith-to-three-year-contract/sn-amp/
  19. And now it’s official. Nikita Zadorov and Elias Lindholm are going to the Boston Bruins. Ruined my fucking day. Only good thing about them leaving is their contracts, Lindholm $7.75m AAV/7 years and Zadorov $5m AAV/6 years.
  20. Sydney Collins Mind you I don’t follow women’s soccer a lot, but that’s surprising. None of the projected Olympic rosters from the various sports sites had her making it. I would’ve picked Carle over her (both defenders), or Rose Edit: No Smith either? Not even as an alternate?
