  1. That's what you get for herding gun culture for over 200 years
  2. USA is so divided that the Democrats will never say a positive word about Trump even if he makes some correct decision by chance. Hell, even the Democratic governors lifted some COVID restrictions in wake of social pressure. COVID has become a political issue in USA and there's no point in denying it.
  3. Thankfully I don't need any surveys to know whom to vote for. Feels like this survey doesn't cover the grey area reality at all. Real life and politics isn't a binary "yes", "nay" system
  4. I' not surprised, whatever Trump does is wrong, all these progressive minds don't give a damn about COVID when it comes to BLM protests. COVID is old news in their community IMO.
  5. I haven't ever heard of this guy in first place Who gives a damn about some friars from 18th century? I find it little surprising that atheists talk more about the Catholic Church than actual Catholics themselves
  6. Haven't you heard about this saying: "The more things change, the more they stay the same" This whole idea "less cops, more teachers means better safety and less crime" sounds like a nice social experiement but only on paper. Since it's America I know shit will hit the fan sooner rather than later. All it takes is another school massacre or two and people asking "where was the police?". Well, the police got replaced by teachers and social workers, that would be the answer Wasn't it Trump who wanted school teachers carrying guns at school? Guess you're drifting into that narrative while trying to cut police jobs.
  7. The quota is in place for the World Championships though and without that, you can kiss the Olympics goodbye. It's not about two decades, it's about the 100+ years of Guyana fielding a team in any team event at the Olympics. The grand total is ZERO so I don't think the first team they ever qualify for the Olympics will happen in curling of all sports. It's called deduction. Guyana has never even fielded a single athlete during Winter Games, not even some Habsburg monarchy descendant living in South America or some aged American skier or whomever else
  8. I'm not surprised, this is the police's way of fighting back. Let's see how life looks like without police on duty and then let's call to have them dissolved If you advocate for collective responsibility aka "all cops are bad" then don't be surprised if they fight back to protect their cause. They won't act like sheep going to slaughter. I simply can't wait to see the murder, rape & burglary stats shoot through the roof once all those PD are dissolved and how people like you will try to justify it
  9. Premier League is back and Sheffield Utd got robbed of a goal because the goal-line technology wasn't working. It's such an enormous fuck up even the Hawkeye had to race to point out it was an error on their part and the goal should have been awarded. English football is cursed, I don't know any other league where the VAR constantly gets it wrong. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/53086360
  10. It's been reported yesterday these cases were two women travelling from Great Britain who attended a dying relative in NZ. Totally avoidable IMO. Compassionate exemptions have been suspended following this. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-53059633
  11. COVID is still doing fine and well in USA just in case someone still cares. Many Cowboys & Texans players have tested positive lately, Ezekiel Elliott among them. Meanwhile Eagles guard Brandon Brooks has torn his Achilles and will probably miss the entire season now.
  12. Denny Hamlin won at Homestead last night and has tied Mark Martin at 40 Cup wins. That's second most among drivers who never won the championship (Junior Johnson had 50 wins). Tyler Reddick got a career-best 4th place after running Top 5 for most of the night.
  13. Will these players sit during anthems now?
  14. I wonder how long it takes before Livio Magoni starts bitching about this? Robinson taking GS points away from Vlhova is bad for the overall
  15. Therese Johaug won't be invited to take part in the Stockholm DL meeting in two month's time due to her doping past. I guess this stretches beyond the usual Norway vs Sweden bickering. Either IAAF (WA) makes a stance on doping or they don't
  16. I was in the Ana Ivanovic camp back in the day Lest we forget how Maria Sharapova managed to dismiss both Azarenka & Jankovic over the MTO usage in one clean sweep: Always drama in WTA!
  17. Kosice is better suited as a basketball city
  18. Nobody's willing to touch the NRA lobbyists but that's the whole point of American politics. Private funding rallies for big shot politicians and NRA can endorse a lot them while having insane finds due to guns being sold everywhere since the Second Amendment is king. It's not a case of civil war but anarchy. You disarm the police and let the thugs rule the streets with their unrestricted access to guns and you've got a recipe for anarchy. Thank God nobody's advocating for disarming the US Army or National Guard yet PS. Strong gun control in USA? Like when? In 2453 or something? NRA will never allow this to happen since it will cost them money. And politicians both Democrats and GOP are scared to piss NRA off.
  19. Btw, I believe police in Poland, Canada and USA uses the same standard X26 series tasers. Average of 1,200 volts with a peak of 50,000 volts. So American police tasers aren't any different from being used elsewhere. So the whole "non-lethal" theory doesn't hold much ground. The death of Igor Stachowiak has been the most high-profile death in police custody in Poland in the last decade so I suggest you don't tell his family "tasers are not lethal".
  20. So, police can't use guns, sticks, chokeholds and tasers? In a country with such an easy access to semi-automatic weapons for civilians? So what should police carry then? Water pistols?
  21. Really? Robert Dziekanski's death was ruled a homicide. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_DziekaƄski_Taser_incident Four ex-police officers have been sentenced to prison in Poland as well. https://tvn24.pl/tvn24-news-in-english/poland-four-police-officers-sentenced-for-igor-stachowiaks-death-ra946568-2283334 So much for taser being non-lethal
  22. Martin Haven has been commentating on EuroSport since the 90s and featured in motor sports as primary subject. Back when DTM was still broadcasted there (this from 1994):
  23. You're applying too much common sense. Since the police chief resigned then the fact this guy grabbed a police taser makes no difference. Unless maybe a policeman gets shot dead it won't make any difference IMO (and even then I'm unsure whether the BLM protesters would care). Police is reduced to mere whipping boys now, whatever they do, it will be a wrong decision.
  24. Been playing GPL & NASCAR Racing online over 15 years ago. Back then "warps" were the ultimate killers. I suppose bandwith is miles improved these days but nothing like a nice little glitch to spoil your run
  25. Even female chiefs of police are forced to resign amid BLM protests. Guess feminists will stay oh-so-quiet here? https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-53037953
