  1. Gytkjaer will leave Lech in the summer. Before the pandemic break there was some speculation he could join Malmoe FF next.
  2. Ah yes, I forgot about him. He got injured after like two games though. I suppose he might be healthy again after the pandemic break.
  3. Yeah, I find it hardly surprising Krakow clubs earn some support from Israel Wisla hasn't had any Israeli players since Maor Melikson or Dudu Biton ca. 8-10 years ago IIRC.
  4. Something called Spring Media agency which covers both Sweden & Denmark. I have no idea how SM operates on the Danish market, obviously. https://ekstraklasa.org/news/ekstraklasa-restart-the-league-and-sells-international-broadcasting-rights-14613 It's worth to be noted the current top scorer of the Ekstraklasa is Christian Gytkjaer (15 goals in 24 matches)
  5. Yeah, Macau is silently making all the business profit so I don't see how HK protesters will ever succeed with their actions tbh.
  6. Osnabruck vs Hannover 96 in Zweite BL. It just started to rain big time
  7. The season will go ahead even if half of it would be staged in Poland Wisla has been bitching about the November date since forever, they'd like to host the event in January like they did before but due to Zakopane being the bigger shark they could only hope for one mid-week competition. Full back-to-back weekends in Wisla and Zakopane are something that hasn't happened on World Cup yet.
  8. Didn't like Great Britain use Hong Kong like Singapore before aka financial off-shore paradise? China plays the capitalist game despite keeping the communist fasade so I suppose Hong Kong will eventually have to give in. Btw, isn't Macau basically China's Singapore already?
  9. Polish Ekstraklasa returns next weekend and some streaming services from around the Europe have bought the rights to show some games live. Apparently Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Israel have bought the rights. I see Direktesport lists three games on their site already: https://www.direktesport.no/league/l/a886c544-d5c9-4e47-9056-5fa5940797a6 Lech - Legia is obvious Polish league classic, like Roma vs Juventus or Bayern vs Hamburg.
  10. So Zilina will finish the season despite going broke? They will play some juniors or what?
  11. Sweden has the highest COVID death rate per capita. It's safe to say their unorthodox approach to this pandemic has totally failed https://www.ft.com/content/46733256-5a84-4429-89e0-8cce9d4095e4
  12. Whatever. Nobody's paying attention to the Norwegian National Championships that masquerades as the World Cup
  13. Biden has so much support among black voters, he doesn't need to pick a running mate of color, period.
  14. Sport is about role modelling. I haven't heard anyone talking about prostitution as the best job available for college athletes?
  15. Severe mental disorder doesn't win you triple Olympic bid. Funny how this only became a thing AFTER she got exposed as a prostitute For me it's just a lousy excuse.
  16. UK net immigration has hit the highest number since 1975. EU immigrants have been replaced by students from India and China. I suppose this is what Nigel Farage & Boris Johnson wanted all along? https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-52752656
  17. Blaming bipolar disorder on becoming a prostitute was the stupid thing People will try to find all kinds of excuses once their secrets are revealed. Nike sponsoring a high-class escort? Like really?
  18. Yeah, one of Polish tabloids run this story a couple of days ago Is it the right time to remind everyone Suzy Favor Hamilton ended up working as an escort back in the day?
  19. Exactly. The COVID pandemic is no longer a health issue, it's an economical issue. Capitalism is more important than health, democracy or medicine. It's as simple as that. Trump as life-long businessman understands the power of capitalism. People losing their jobs will be blamed on these Democrat governors who want to keep people locked down for health reasons. This is a no-win contest for the Democrats. Watch other Democrat-run states fall in line and open their ecomony during the summer. They've got no choice no matter what the science says.
  20. Meanwhile I see California will open for business soon. So much for standing up against Trump. I suppose someone put the heat on the Governor and he buckled https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2020-05-18/newsom-reopening-coronavirus-benchmark
  21. Hardly a surprise. I'm amazed some of these sponsors keep pouring money into cycling. It's basically in Top 3 of the dirtiest sports in the world with the TUE acting as BS excuse for wide-spread doping
  22. It's cool. I'm well aware the rich Western Europe countries don't care about Poland. What else is new?
  23. Fun fact, despite the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020 there have been over 4,000 less deaths in Poland than in March 2018 Deaths in Poland: March 2018: 40,700, March 2020: 36,557. So yeah, COVID is hardly the end of the world when you look at the numbers
  24. Apparently there's some Arrest Challenge going on in the NFC East https://www.nj.com/giants/2020/05/giants-deandre-baker-arrested-for-armed-robbery-what-happened-here-are-more-details.html https://www.hogshaven.com/2020/5/16/21261043/redskins-wr-cody-latimer-arrested-for-assault-and-firearms-charges
  25. Live football on my TV: Karlsruhe vs Darmstadt in 2. Bundesliga!
