  1. Hey, at least we didn't get lapped minus Hojnisz And we finished ahead of Italy I can imagine they put Wierer on the last leg just for a training leg. I think they figured out it's no use to put V&W on the first two legs and hope for the other two not to lose too much? Sadly Kamila Zuk just can't get going whatsoever. To think she was on par with Marketa Davidova in the juniors is a sad story when you see how Davidova has developed into a Top 10 performer in the seniors.
  2. Huh? More like Canmore 2019? Oeberg's ski speed is toast. Kruchinkina is way faster.
  3. Belarus leads after 3 shoots. Who needs Domracheva? Braisaz with a meltdown. Eckhoff 2 penalty loops.
  4. You know it's bad when Tomasz Sikora gets upset how slowly Kamila Zuk is shooting. She's really giving away too much time on the range
  5. Well, Eckhoff and Olsbu will have some catching up to do. Larschneider meltdown undoes all of Vittozzi's work
  6. Bassino wins! 3/4. Quite clearly the best GS skier this season. Maryna G-D 10th
  7. Monster run from Worley. Could be for the win?
  8. MGD into second place 0,64 behind Gut. That's a great performance!
  9. Amanda Anisimova has officially withdrawn too
  10. Yeah, if you think Slovakia is a one woman team, then Poland is like miles behind you anyway
  11. Child welfare connects this case. In Poland it's the liberals who want this taken away (because the "state can't afford it" as our former minster of finance said) just like the liberals in Netherlands. Rich will NEVER understand the poor and this Dutch government collapse is a living proof of this. Marc Rutten is lucky he's not American because he would have been accused of racism after illegally punishing the immigrants & Muslim minority like that.
  12. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-55674146 It's funny, in Poland several government critics accused Law & Justice of buying votes when they adopted a similar 500+ children welfare programme (that was supposedly going to be spend not on children but vodka because it's Poland) yet an albatross of a child welfare programme in the Netherlands brings that government down (which shows you how idiotic the anti-Law & Justice critique in terms of 500+ really are). Holland has been accused of being the driving force behind the rich EU North's fiscal policies, turns out these fuckers even wanted to save money at the expense of their own country's children? No wonder they're history now. Good riddance!
  13. Three-time college national champion coach Urban Meyer will be the next Jacksonville Jaguars head coach! Things got a little more interesting in Duval with Trevor Lawrence widely expected to be #1 pick in the draft. Meyer won two college titles with Florida Gators in the 00s so he should be loved by the Jax fans? Of course successful college coaches don't often find similar success in NFL. Just look at Nick Saban's failed tenure with the Dolphins. Also Pete Carroll found success with only his third NFL franchise. However Jaguars have had 10+ loss seasons in 9 of the previous 10 years so the only way is up!
  14. What's with Skottheim? I suppose this is more than just a calf strain suffered right at the very end of the Hochfilzen mass start?
  15. Keys said she's out already. I seriously doubt Australia allows someone who tested positive to fly into the country and quarantine here. I mean self-quarantine is for healthy athletes to begin with. French Open prevented false-positive players from taking part so there's no way Australia allows Sandgren to play IMO.
  16. Meanwhile Andy Murray tested positive for covid... as did Madison Keys. Magda Linette has apparently pulled out due to a knee injury. At this rate all the lucky losers that travelled to Australia will get a MD entrance. WTA LLs: Bonaventure (In already, could be for Yastremska though), Gasparyan, Schmiedlova, Buzarnescu, Tsurenko, Rakhimova. EDIT: Apparently Yastremska has flown to Australia today anyway. So Bonaventure is in for Linette and Gasparyan will probably get Keys' spot. It's official - Main Draw ceremony will be held on February 4th @thepharoah
  17. Kinga Zbylut 34th, Kamila Zuk 39th. It is what it is for Kocergina 47th with 9/10. That's a positive results for @Werloc ?
  18. 1. Eckhoff, 2. Wierer, 3. Hauser. This could be the eventual podium.
  19. Looks like Tandrevold collapsed on the course (fall?).
  20. Olsbu & H. Oeberg with one miss in the prone.
  21. Hammerschmidt won't get any more screen time than starting bib #1 at a German venue
  22. It still is. OQ period stretches from November 28th, 2020 to January 16th, 2022. As much as we hate it, the full Olympic line-ups won't be known until three weeks before the games. Top 3 nations in Olympic ranking will send 6 athletes. 4th-10th - five athletes, 11th-20th will be allowed to field a relay. For nations outside Top 20 - 12 individual wild cards based on performances in non-relay World Cup & IBU Cup races. I just checked on twitter with the best Polish biathlon journalist. He confirmed this is how the OQ works as of today.
  23. Well, Idk how good or bad she is tbh Shawna Pendry makes her IBU Cup as well. After finishing 12th at the Youth Olympics sprint maybe there is some hope beyond Amanda Lightfoot?
  24. Yeah, the IBU Cup quotas are raised after the Junior Cup cancellations. Poland can field six men & women each too (but we only send 5 men to Arber). Obviously everyone will focus on Stina Nilsson's performance
