  1. India is ready to bid for 2036 Olympics.

So the usual questions that people brought up recently:

    1) Weather. I assume it will be too hot & humid to host Olympics in July/August so welcome September/October.

    2) The conflict in Kashmir still going on? I suppose nobody cares?

    3) Caste system still practised despite technically out-lawed. Human right lobbyists should love this? Or not? I suppose nobody cares either?

  3. Buccaneers beat Cardinals 19-16 in overtime after another 4th quarter comeback (they were down 16-6 with ten minutes left). This means if they beat Panthers next week they will clinch the division with one game to go. This would almost 100% guarantee a wild card match with Cowboys since #4 & #5 seeds in NFC are basically impossible to change anymore (unless Eagles somehow lose their last two games).

  4. Another stat. Only 12 of 172 goals were scored from outside the penalty box (7%). That's a major decline compared to Euro 2020 (19/142 goals, 13%).

The far left red dot is the Bruno Fernandes cross that wasn't even a shot to begin with :p  Moreover only 24% of goals were scored from set pieces (PK, free kick, corner) compared to 44% of those goals being scored in 2018 World Cup.

  5. Jaguars beat NY Jets 19-3 on Thursday night so they control their destiny, if they beat Texans & Titans in the last two games they will win the division.

Meanwhile Jets QB Zach Wilson got benched for practice squad CFL legend Chris Streveler who actually looked better in the 4th quarter. It should be game over for Wilson's career, two years after he was taken #2 overall directly behind the Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence.
