  1. 3x3 basketball is great! I love it! And not only because Polish team is good.
  2. I have mixed feelings. I mean, breakdance was one of the worst options they could choose, but at the other hand you can't say that bboys/bgirls are not athletes. To be a good breakdancer takes years of training. I'd prefer squash for example, but I am able to understand IOC's decision. Also talking about new audiences, encouraging youth to Olympics, I think that adding "urban" sports could work. A lot of my friends are quite hyped about freestyle BMX, skateboard, sport climbing. But I don't like the idea of changing few sports every Olympics. It's just not fair for the athletes. Maybe it's not a problem with baseball/softball, which doesn't need Olympics imho, but it is a problem in karate now. Some younger karatekas may dreamt about competing in Paris and then... France doesn't want it (to my surprise, they're good at karate). However, afaik WKF and probably also WBSC would try to become core sports. I'm not sure, but it was probably Polish Karate Union who wrote, that decision about karate as a core sport would be made next year.
  3. Apart from men's team first time ever we're sending women. Kinga Rajda and Kamila Karpiel are going.
  4. Polish team: Kamil Stoch Piotr Żyła Dawid Kubacki Jakub Wolny Stefan Hula Maciej Kot who was in a gold winning squad in 2017 stays home. Not a surprise tho. Sadly, he barely gets any points this year.

  6. Not a single combined a year before olympics? I thought they would put at least one somewhere.
  7. Hadalin is a talented guy. It was not only luck. He won gold in combined at 2016 junior WCh and silver a year before. I think there's bright future for him.
  8. Tbh good competition so far. It will be a very interesting slalom. This one isn't as ridiculous as women's.
  9. You don't have to watch winter sports if you dont't like it. Stop being massochist and annoying others.
  10. Aaaand... It'll be a short one again. That's a one tricky weather hilltop.
  11. Naaaah… Vonn has a bruised eye and Ross has a bruised… botttom
  12. If we're already here. When totallympics count will be updated?
  13. I'm not surprised with that comment but I still laughed tho.
  14. I think it was a really entertaining race. Would never say it was an easy one. Becuase of wheather conditions it was short, but still there was drama and it was very close-fought. Shiffrin deserved the win. This season she had won every super g she started and saying that she was lucky today is just an ignorance.
  15. Maybe you think so because it is a niche sport in Poland and it's more like sunday recreational activity here, But it is popular worldwide and I think it should be included at olympics. I can't understand why they are still out of olympics.
  16. He was stopped during his race because of Buzzi's injury behind the finish line. He has just went down the course once again and though he had to race almost two times today he still did pretty well.
  17. Source of that information?
  18. She's really talented tho and receives government's scholarship. Nevertheless, nobody hoped for the medal here and now she's gold. Just wow!
  19. Wow, Dorota Banaszczyk in the final! I knew she is talented, but didn't expect her to win a medal here. And now she will fight for gold!
  20. Amelia Brodka fell during her training run at the world championships and lost consciousness, so unfortunately European Champion didn't start in today's women's qualis, but fortunately she is ok now.
  21. The upcoming competiton in park skateboarding, set in Shanghai is not considered as world championships anymore. It was renamed as Tour Finals, because World Skate organises their world champs few days later in Nanjing: http://www.worldskate.org/skateboarding/news-skateboarding/2981-2018-world-skate-park-world-championships.html
  22. We have one new curling arena opened in Łódź in August.
  23. I heard rumors that Walter Hofer is going to retire after 19-20 season. F I N A L L Y
  24. WOW! 4 YEARS AGO WE WERE FAVOURITES TO THE GOLD, NOW WE WEREN'T, BUT STILL, WE DID IT! CAN'T BELIEVE IT!
