  1. Paulina Guba - shot put - 18,65 in Warsaw http://live.domtel-sport.pl/?seria=0&runda=3&konkurencja=Kkula&dzien=2019-07-28&impreza=6
  2. They had received citizenship last October, so they're able to play now. In WBC they didn't have to be a country's citizen to play. It was enough just to be able to get the citizenship without naturalization. I am asking the same question to myself. It's crazy, but maybe English Wikipedia is wrong?
  3. And they've just won 15-0! Poor Lithuania lost in play-offs again. Last year they were defeated by Austria. So we know all 12 teams that will play at European Championships in September. Pool Bonn: Pool Solingen:
  4. Israel really wants to make it to Tokyo. Last october they had given citizenships to some Jewish-American players (some of them played for Israel at last World Baseball Classic where they made a surprisingly successful run using Jewish-American players) with Tokyo qualifiers in mind. Some had even played in MLB. This weekend they are playing play-off with Lithuania and they're one win away from qualifying for European Championships for the 1st time ever. I wonder how far they could go with it. Their olympic dream really starts to seem real.
  5. That tournament is far better than Euros. There's some drama, while in Ostrava it was pretty dull.
  6. Wow, I thought GB could make some upset here, but I'm still surprised
  7. Anita Włodarczyk (Athletics) - two olympic golds,4 times world champion, 4th (and prolly last) olympics, world record holder, absolute legend of hammer throw Michał Kubiak (Volleyball) - captain of volleyball team, two times world champion, 3rd olympics, controversial yet popular Łukasz Kubot (Tennis) - one of the top doubles players, 2 time grand slam winner, tho has no good olympic history Piotr Małachowski (Athletics) - discus throw legend, two olympic silver medals, world champion and two times silver medalist, just a lovely person
  8. I've chosen tenis, athletics, basketball (5x5 and 3x3) and sport climbing. I also very like handball, football (would make top 5 if not U23 in men's tournament), beach volleyball, badminton, all kind of cycling and rugby sevens. The bottom five would be artistic swimming, water polo, boxing, equstrian and rythmic gymnastics.
  9. Marcin Krukowski, Javelin throw: 85,63 in Warsaw two days ago https://pzla.pl/file/5087-rezultaty.pdf
  10. Thank you! So it's just this magnificent website making me anxious for no reason.
  11. I don't think so. It seems like a kind of non-medal event to me, but AZS says we have gold medal, shooters too. Official site doesn't help as it's sh*t and doesn't even provide the team results.
  12. Are team results of 10m air rifle qualies considered as official medal event? Polish federation and shooters are celebrating, tho we have no medal in the table on the official site and the schedule on English Wikipedia shows, that today only one medal event in shooting was planned.
  13. The worst results page I've ever seen on universiade. Nothing works.
  14. Tatsiana Khaladovich 64.37 in javelin throw at European games. It counts, doesn't it?
  15. Iga Baumgart Witan - 400 m - 51,12 in Chorzów https://www.iaaf.org/athletes/poland/iga-baumgart-238049 Karolina Kołeczek - 100 m hurdles - 12,75 in Chorzów https://www.iaaf.org/athletes/poland/karolina-koleczek-243597
  16. High jump: Piotr Lisek 5,81 in Oslo https://www.iaaf.org/athletes/poland/piotr-lisek-279668
  17. Oh, like that Kyrgyz guy from weightlifting, who was Rio's first athlete stripped of his medal. I wonder what such person was thinking. "Hey, I'll take strychnine for power. It's very easy to detect and there's a Chance it kills me, but whatever"
  18. Men's discus throw Piotr Małachowski - 66,34 in Rehlingen https://www.iaaf.org/athletes/poland/piotr-malachowski-180828
  19. Boxing is in, qualies next year, but organised by IOC's special comission with FIS's Morinari Watanabe as a head of project. AIBA is suspended. And this is the best decision they could make I think. Dumping boxing one year before OG would not be fair for athletes, but neither letting AIBA organise it. 20. ?? Uganda beat ?? Tanzania 23-1 and thus ?? Uganda and ?? Kenya will advance for the championships no matter who will win their tomorrow match.
  21. Let's make that an all swimming triathlon. You start doing 200 m medley in the pool, then you run a few metres and jump into the lake, where you're going for 3 km and after this part you return to the pool but this time you're doing 400 medley in fins. We could make a mixed relay out of it too.
  22. Zone east qualies in Nairobi are underway. ?? Tanzania was defeated by hosts ?? Kenya 12-14. Tomorrow ?? Tanzania plays ?? Uganda and the tournament will conclude on Sunday with ?? Kenya vs ?? Uganda. ?? Zambia was also invited but withdrew.
