    As a Polish fan I must admit that before the tournament we were thinking about final six as an absolute maximum. Even Polish fans underestimated our team. Even Heynen underestimated it. Few months ago he said, that he wants medals, but admitted that it would be hard to go from 9th at ECH to TOP3 at WCH in one year. And then... Now it's time for some déjà vu from 2014.

    Next year it will be a qualifier for Olympics afaik. It is considered world championships though. And Igarashi is a solid surfer from World Surf League. I am not sure, but as I remember ISA will allow at olympics only surfers who started at World Surfing Games.
