  15. If it was up to me, I'd remove all those nonsense team events (including pursuit) and mass start of course. Traditional speed skating events are completely different than track cycling events. So what's up with this urge to copy track cycling formats? It's so fake.

  25. No athlete should be forced to provide samples to three random people who show up claiming to be doping control officers or assistants. Now we know for certain from the previous panel and this hearing that, quoting from swimswam ( https://swimswam.com/breaking-down-sun-yangs-case-part-4-what-did-the-doping-panel-find/ and https://swimswam.com/live-recap-wada-vs-sun-yang-fina-cas-hearing/) : - the blood collection assistant was not certified; -the doping control assistant behaved like an idiot trying to take photos of Sun Yang during the test (If I recall correctly, but I'm not sure of this, he turned out to be a former schoolmate of the DCO who "showed up in flip flops") - the doping control officer did not provide identification, is a liar, but then admitted she was not correctly accredited Now WADA is saying that the DCO can show up at an athlete's door with an unnamed "letter of authority" (not even the letter of authorization to perform the test) which does not need to contain the names of the athlete and of the doping control officer...this is completely crazy for me, anyone could fabricate (or get in possession of) one of those letters and the athlete has to accept to submit to the test. Sun's mistake was to accept to get his blood drawn in first place, he should have run away.

  34. Today, an unsual event in Danish sports and ice hockey happened. Ice hockey player, Kristian Jensen, who plays in the Danish Ice Hockey League for Frederikshavn White Hawks, was found guilty of violence - in having given a player a severe blow to the head during a match in September. He got a suspended sentenced of 20 days in prison for his action. It's very rare a violent action during a sport match in up in court in Denmark and a player/athlete gets a sentence. The court was aware that the ice hockey player had already been severely sanctioned by the Danish Ice Hockey Union by giving him a 17-match suspension. However, the general justice system must intervene in such situation, it was stated from the court. - The legal order must provide protection next to the ice hockey system, said judge, Jeanette Thørholm Andersen, as she presented the grounds for the verdict You can watch the episode below:

  42. -Announcement- The Totallympics International Song Contest Jury representing the Kingdom of the Netherlands has decided to withdraw from hosting the 2020 Totallympics Annual International Song Contest. After the incredible success at the recent 2019 Totallympics Open Internatonal Song Contest, which was won by the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a situation arose where said Kingdom found itself in the possession of the hosting rights for both the 2020 Totallympics Annual International Song Contest and the 2020 Totallympics Open International Song Contest. This led to an unfortunate situation where tens of thousands of people have taken to the streets in order to press for one of the two sets of hosting rights to be stripped away. To illustrate, the Totallympics International Song Contest Jury representing the Kingdom of the Netherlands has added some material about said protests, which you'll find attached in the spoiler following this paragraph. The Totallympics International Song Contest Jury representing the Kingdom of the Netherlands is made up of god-fearing people. As one can see in one of the added pieces above, there is a male human figure with a rather scary looking beard. Also, when one takes a close look, one can see a person smoking a cigarette. Since beard-wearing - and possibly omnipotent and divine - figures possess a certain kind of danger, and the Jury does not want a cancer-bringing cigarette smoker getting too close, the Jury has decided to step down from hosting the 2020 Totallympics Annual International Song Contest. Those hosting rights were awarded after the winner of the 2019 Totallympics Annual International Song Contest declined hosting a Totallympics International Song Contest for a record 498th time, while the hosting rights for the 2020 Totallympics Open International Song Contest were actually earned by the Totallympics International Song Contest Jury representing the Kingdom of the Netherlands by virtue of winning the 2019 Totallympics Open International Song Contest. The Jury hopes this will settle down the unrest and bring back peace. -End of announcement-
