Obviously, like every four years, the usual media circus has kicked off, with Italian politics and the government demanding the FIGC president’s head on a spike. in Paris we got 40 medals and 12 golds and we had disappointing campaigns in quite a few disciplines we should have got the 15/50 already 2 years ago and we're on the raising curve in a few sports tbh, as it is right now, that 20/50 target is definitely realistic, maybe a bit optimistic, but realistic -
there's always the chance to change that just take 5-7% of the Superenalotto prize money and you have fixed the problem (and coni gets more money than ever)

I think definately with 48 teams it is not too many with 16. however I can accept that Swedens route was not deserved. The problem (or good for Sweden) is that they award teams in Europa league C division. Iof we did not fail in the B division we would probably not have won a playoff spot from B league. Maybe a Genius move from our former national coach😂
